We understand that buying a vehicle online can sometimes leave you un-easy. We are aware that there are other dealers online that do not fully describe the vehicles listed. They might leave important information out, or not have a thorough description of that item.
Our goal is simple. We aim to be honest and fair with all of our deals. Word of mouth and return business is something we take very serious! We achieve this by providing you with all of the information YOU need to make a comfortable decision, and hopefully proceeding to your investment, a vehicle! We strive for A+ satisfaction. We do not want to waste anyone’s time, and definitely don’t want to mislead you. This is why we inform you of EVERYTHING we know, and provide you with detailed descriptions and conditions of the item for sale. Business is expanding, explaining the new eBay account.
This auction is for a 2002 Volkswagen Eurovan GLS. You don’t see these every day! I found this very easy and fun to drive considering its size. The van is very efficient on fuel and they carry the reliable Volkswagen brand. With seating for 7 very comfortably, it was easy to enter and exit the vehicle because of the generous head and foot room. For any size commute to cross country road trips, I recommend this Eurovan for any size family!
INTERIOR: This vehicle gives great first impressions. The condition of the interior is above average. The previous owner took good care of the interior. Everything is in great working order. The heat blows hard and hot, the heated seats heat up fast and are very effective. The climate control display is missing a few digits, but still functions 100%. The radio sounds great and functions properly. The fabrics appear to all be stain free including the carpets. The driver seat armrest has been taken off, the bolt still attached. Also, the passenger side rear sliding door window does not latch properly. It will stay shut, there is a pin missing that keeps the window latched, it remains to be fully functional. The vehicle does not reflect its actual millage because average wear and tear is not visible. The universal cargo area was very easy to transform from seating to more cargo space. This is a nice vehicle!
EXTERIOR: The paint is actually in great shape. There is a small dent on the bottom rocker panel on the driver side. There is a scuff on the rear also. Other than these minor flaws the vehicles exterior is in great shape. The tires have plenty of tread left as you can see in the pictures along with the flaws mentioned before.
MOTOR/HANDLING: When I drove this Volkswagen I noticed I could see every angle and felt as if there were no blind spots. Backing up was easy and the turning radius was impressive. The acceleration was very responsive and peppy. The brakes did a great job stopping the van. Making a tight turn was no problem and there are no sounds coming from the engine bay or suspension. Most Volkswagens usually have a major issue, but this one is actually a great vehicle. In the pictures you can see that there are dash lights on. The following lights are all linked: ABS, Check Engine and another VW indicator light. I was informed that there is a bad sensor that is triggering all of these lights. Replacing one sensor would fix the issue. It is a steering sensor and I believe it is in the steering column. This does not affect the way it drives as I driven it personally. You would think this van has 40k miles on it by the way it handles. This was a great experience to be able to drive a vehicle in this condition! I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle anywhere; it is what it was made for!
The time I had with this vehicle, all in all, this is in great shape. I feel it is very reliable and it could double its millage with no problems under routine maintenance. These are not very common but they are still very fun. Because the vehicle has these minor flaws, as I mentioned, this makes it affordable for any buyer on a budget, as this is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. Thank you for looking, HAPPY BIDDING!

After decades of penning beautiful machines, Volkswagen Group design boss Walter de Silva will retire at the end of November but will still hold an advisory role. He has led the styling for the automotive giant's brands since 2007. The company's statement didn't announce a successor for him. De Silva began his design career at Fiat in 1972 and led styling at Alfa Romeo from 1986 to 1998. He first joined VW Group with Seat but made a big splash at Audi in 2002. His work there included the sixth-generation A6, A5, and the fantastic R8. Later, he created a great take on the classic Leica M9 camera, too. VW praised de Silva's creation of a design culture that spanned its division but still allowed for creativity within each one. "Walter de Silva epitomizes creativity and the Italian sense of beauty and style on the one hand and thoroughness, a systematic approach and discipline on the other," CEO Matthias Muller said in the announcement. De Silva's retirement could bring a major change in the way VW Group organizes its studios, according to Automotive News. The automaker reportedly wants to cut its annual styling budget and might not seek a replacement for him. Walter Maria de Silva takes retirement Head of Group Design established common design culture across all brands while retaining creative autonomy of each individual brand Walter Maria de Silva Walter Maria de Silva Walter Maria de Silva (64), Head of Group Design, is retiring with effect from the end of November. De Silva assumed design responsibility for all passenger car brands within the Volkswagen Group in February 2007. Walter de Silva will continue his links with the Group in an advisory capacity. Walter Maria de Silva was born in Lecco (Italy) on February 27, 1951 and joined the Volkswagen Group 17 years ago when he became Head of the SEAT Design Centre in 1998. He was put in charge of the design of the Audi brand group, including the brands Audi, Lamborghini and SEAT, in 2002. His new design language with Audi was epitomised by the 6th generation of the Audi A6 and Audi A5 Coupe. He was appointed Head of Group Design at Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft in 2007. Walter de Silva saw the main focus of his work as design chief in establishing and nurturing a common design culture across all brands, which nevertheless allows each brand to retain a high degree of creative autonomy.

J.D. Power has just revealed the results of its 2013 APEAL Study, which looks at which brands have the most appealing cars based on sales figures, dealer inventory, brand loyalty, transaction and trade-in prices. The study was revamped for 2013, and places a larger focus on the new tech and infotainment options available to customers. All told, study participants gauged their vehicles on 77 different attributes, delivering a score out of a 1,000 points.
The Volkswagen Group had the greatest success of any corporation, topping the APEAL rankings with the Audi Allroad, Porsche Boxster, Porsche Cayenne, VW GTI and Passat. Chevrolet had the highest number of awards for a single brand, though, with the Avalanche, Sonic and Volt all taking home a prize.
The best brand overall was Porsche, which scored 884 out of a possible 1,000 points. The top Japanese brand was Lexus with a score of 847, while the top American brand was Cadillac, at 841. The best mainstream brand was Ram, which received a very respectable 817. The industry average for this year's study was 795, with 16 brands, all of which were mainstream, falling below the average.

Volkswagen hired a photographer to come shoot the handful of journalists that it brought to drive the 2015 Golf R at Buttonwillow Raceway north of Los Angeles. This fact, though unremarkable in and of itself, was something I hadn't noticed until I was well into my track time – probably ten laps deep on a day that would see me run twice that number. In any event, I noticed the intrepid shooter as he was sprinting from one side of the track to the other somewhere before Turn 2, while I was barreling down the main straightaway, still looking through Turn 1. In the roughly two-mile configuration of the track that I drove, Buttonwillow is a big, wide-open circuit, largely flat and with excellent overall visibility. On that layout, and just hours into my Golf R experience, I'd already become confident in endeavoring to push the limits of VW's latest blistering hatch. In fact, the easy nature of driving the thing quickly had me overestimating my pace. So when I saw the photog sprint across the tarmac I instinctively slowed way too much, way too early for Turn 1. Looking back at the incident after I'd pitted for the session, I laughed at myself, knowing I'd have had to be driving almost double my actual speed to put the camera guy in any real danger of being hit. But the experience crystallized what my full test of the R bore out: this is a car that makes you feel much faster than you otherwise would, at least in a competition setting. The 2015 Golf R is an uber hatch that will flatter those hyper-enthusiasts passionate enough to splash out on its steep price tag, but without threatening sales of core models like the GTI and its ilk. That's a good thing for the VW fanboys, to be sure, and, I'd argue, a great thing for the strength of the German brand overall. {C} The R felt both placid and comfortable while I clicked off highway miles in search of the racetrack. My test in California had at least two things in common with the First Drive feature that Steve Ewing brought us with the Golf R in Sweden. First, we both drove European specification cars (though mine didn't suffer from the same sticker abuse that Steve's did). Second, we were both somewhat limited in terms of driving the car in varied, real-world situations. My street route consisted almost entirely of tracking California's I-5 north out of Los Angeles; which any Angelino will tell you is a less-than-riveting mode of travel.
