Spanaway, Washington, United States
5 Day Worldwide NO RESERVE Auction Alas we've outgrown our Eurovan. She's been great for us but we need something a bit larger now. She has 133,xxx miles, has been very meticulously maintained by all 3 owners since day one and has many upgrades. The 2.5L I5 MPI engine runs great and had a top-end rebuild in May 2011 mechanically this van runs great and has had GREAT maintenance. The automatic transmission shifts nice and tight. The paint and body is solid & clean and sports a custom professional paint job so your not running around in the stark/bland white standard Eurovan that everyone else has. There is no visible rust. The interior is very nice and clean with no rips, tears, or stains. All of the seats and cushions are in great shape. All of the camping equipment such as stove, fridge, sink, furnace etc is all in great working order! The canvas is also in great shape with no rips or tears. The underside is also in great condition! I would rate the overall condition of this van to be in above average shape and nicer than most 95's This van is a perfect little RV and we've used it across the states of the pacific northwest such as Oregon, Idaho, California, Utah, And Washington. Drives like a car and camps like an RV. With pop-top and fold dwn seat it seats/sleeps 4 comfortably. All camping equipment stove, fridge, sink, furnace etc all work correctly. Let's you get out and truly enjoy nature (check out some of our trips below). We have all of the original manuals so learning how to operate everything is a breeze. VW agrees to halt next-gen rally car development to help others stay in WRC
Sat, 22 Jun 2013Volkswagen has petitioned the FIA to hold on to the current specifications for cars in the World Rally Championship, according to Autosport.com. The move is evidently an effort to keep as many competitors in the sport as possible, despite the fact that using the current spec racers may actually hurt Volkswagen's chances at winning. The three factory teams currently competing in the WRC are at the end of a three-year homologation cycle at the end of 2013, and new cars are expected to bow next year. But developing new racers could cost as much as $4.7 million.
That price tag would put M-Sport (which fields Ford racers) out of the WRC game for 2014 and would put Citroën participation in question as well. VW has already begun work on the next iteration of its Polo R WRC, and the hatch has nabbed four wins in six rounds this season. Now it appears that car won't bow until at least 2015. The FIA has officially agreed to freeze homologation of new WRC cars until the end of next season.

Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Mercedes also under diesel emissions scrutiny
Sat, Oct 10 2015The controversy over Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal isn't limited to the US. In Europe, where diesel engines are far more popular, the issue is shining a harsh light on the NEDC emissions test. As already known, the evaluation does a poor job of reflecting real-world production of NOx, and it appears a significant number of automakers are affected. The Guardian in the UK has been reporting on real-world test results from a company called Emissions Analytics. After the latest round of checks, vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Mazda and Mitsubishi were found to generate far more NOx than they should. The newspaper also published similar results for Renault, Nissan, Hyundai, Fiat, Volvo, Jeep, Citroen, VW, and Audi. On average, the figures are about four times over the limit of producing the pollutant. Unlike VW and its defeat device, these automakers aren't actually breaking the rules. The vehicles perform up to the NEDC lab test for emissions, but those results simply aren't translated to the street. "The VW issue in the US was purely the trigger which threw light on a slightly different problem in the EU - widespread legal over-emissions," Nick Molden from Emissions Analytics said to The Guardian. A big fight to decide the future of this issue appears to be on the horizon. Automakers claim that they can't meet the next round of tightening emissions regulations and are asking for compromises. Although, spokespeople for Mercedes and Honda told The Guardian that the brands would be in favor of the stricter rules. Meanwhile, some European governments began backtracking their support of diesels well before this scandal came to light. The added scrutiny certain hasn't helped the future of the oil-burner.
