West Coast Solid 13 Window Deluxe Microbus Vw Bus No Rust Very Complete on 2040-cars
San Rafael, California, United States
Your Bidding on a Solid Project 13 window Deluxe Microbus
What you see is what go's with the Bus . Not Pictured is a Gas Tank , and Both Rear Wheels, and a set of Drums and Spring Plates. I don't think there is much Rust anywhere, very Solid, it was an Original Sealing Wax Red Beige Grey bus Originaly and you see this Paint everywhere underneath. Most Parts are on the bus , I think the only obvious things missing are the Rear Bumper, Engine and Front Emblem. The bus had it's Bulkhead cut out once to make it a walkthrough.... but it comes with Bulkhead Wall to weld back in. Also it has a set of Correct 1/3 and 2/3 front seats to go back in it. The walkthrough seats that are in it right now do NOT go with it. Repeat the walkthrough seats that are in it now do NOT go with it . Also there is a Type 3 trans sitting on engine deck and this does NOT go with it , it comes with a Core Big Nut Trans , along with a set of correct Spring Plates and Drums. Apron is an earlier 'Crank Start ' style that someone ad'd a latch to allow decklid to close to it. Rear seats are Original to the bus The Bus rolls like it is on this Dolly, and will be Sold "as is " on this Dolly, I picked it up this way and can be moved this way. Clear Calif. Title European Buyers not a problem, the Port is an Hour away, and I do have a shipper . Please email for a Link to 80 pics |

Volkswagen Cross Up! aimed at rugged lifestyle folks, complete with plastic cladding
Wed, 06 Mar 2013If you thought there was nothing wrong with the Volkswagen Up! that a little body cladding wouldn't fix, you're in luck. VW has officially pulled the wraps off the production version of the Cross Up!, and its wheel arches and rocker panels are full of the black plastic cladding you've been yearning for.
In addition to the "particularly rugged design and tough, lifestyle qualities" that the cladding exudes, VeeDub has also seen fit to put its Cross Up! on a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels clad in 185/50-series tires. Inside, there are new kick plates to go along with a dash pad that can be had in red, black or silver.
All that cladding must equal additional off-road readiness, right? Well, sure... just so long as you're fine with the same 75-horsepower three-cylinder engine that all other Up! models also feature, along with a five-speed manual transmission sending power to the front wheels, again, just like all other Up! models. The Cross Up! appears to have a taller ride height than other models, but we haven't been able to find out what - if any - changes have been made.
Volkswagen Golf Wagon leaked ahead of official unveiling
Sat, 02 Mar 2013Wagons ho! These three images of the upcoming Volkswagen Golf Wagon have leaked online ahead of the car's official debut, which may very well be at the Geneva Motor Show. Looking over the photos doesn't really bring any surprises - after all, this is a VW Golf with a wagon rear end grafted on, or basically what we expect next Jetta SportWagen will be.
We can only share these three images at this time, but fret not, folks. There's little doubt that all the details and images will be flowing from Volkswagen in short order. In the meantime, click on the images above to view them in high resolution.
VW debuts Get Happy Super Bowl ad
Mon, 28 Jan 2013
Brace yourself for another tidal wave of Super Bowl commercials. Volkswagen has released its spot for this year's big game. Set to air during the second quarter, the Get Happy spot follows one jubilant office worker as he makes his way through the day, spreading joy wherever he goes. The source of his happiness? A Volkswagen Beetle, of course. Now, if you're wondering why a gaggle of white guys are running around on your screen with Jamaican accents, it will help to know the spot is part of a larger Get Happy campaign featuring Jimmy Cliff.
The first ad in the series featured the artist singing his rendition of "C'Mon, Get Happy," complete with a little help from some notorious unhappy YouTube stars. You can take a look at the new ad before it airs below, along with the complete press release for a little more background.
