Up for sale is a clean 1972 VW Westfalia Camper Bus. This bus lived its life in Wyoming, and has been sitting since the early 90's. We rescued this bus, cleaned it top to bottom, put some brand new tires on it, and now we are offering it to someone who can take it to the next level! We haven't tried to get the bus running, but the motor is complete, and it appears to have run when parked.

The bus doesn't have a lot of rust- a pinhole in the front floor, some rust in the lower rocker on the driver's side, etc. The front looks like it was repaired a long time ago and there is some cracking. The top canvas and cot material need to be replaced. The bus rolls and steers, but doesn't have brakes, or an ignition key.

All of the hard to find interior is there- the sink, jump seat, all seatbelts, etc. The bed folds down and works great! Icebox is clean and ready to use.

This bus does need work, but will make someone a great little van!

International buyers are welcome. Although the bus does not have a title, I can assist in getting one for $500 extra, and this process takes an additional 3 weeks.

Car companies may need to start curbing model proliferation

Looking at the current automotive landscape, especially from German makers, you quickly get the impression that less definitely isn't more. BMW alone offers its 3 Series platform in practically every segment possible, including the regular sedan and 4 Series Gran Coupe, which would seem to be direct competitors. Porsche might be the winner, though, with 20 different variants of the 911 listed for sale on its US website. However, some of this model madness might be reaching an end as companies begin cutting back spending or shifting money to other priorities.
According to Yahoo Finance, the offerings from the German automakers are up 25 percent over the past three years to over 200 models in Europe. The peak is expected to come around 2018 at 230 separate vehicles, according to consulting company PwC.
Amazingly, BMW, which is among the poster children for this model explosion, might be changing its tune. "I'm sure there will be points in the future where we look at certain cars and say, 'Maybe we need to think differently now,'" said head of sales Ian Robertson in an interview, according to Yahoo Finance. The statement certainly sounds shocking coming from a company rumored to have 23 front-wheel-drive vehicles all using a single platform on the way.

Reggae super-duper-star and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jimmy Cliff has been using music to send positive vibes out into the universe for decades now, so its no surprise that his message on behalf of Volkswagen is one of redemption.
Dubbed Sunny Side, this web-spot is VW's warmup of sorts for what promises to be another blockbuster year in the world of Super Bowl commercials. Without giving away the game, the euphonious commercial sees Cliff opening his arms and his heart to some YouTube 'celebrities' that might see courser treatment from the likes of Tosh.0, for instance. We can't help but be reminded of Coca-Cola's legendary 1971 Hilltop spot with the "I'd like to buy the world a Coke" lyric, too.
