Volkswagen Tdi Turbo Vw Beetle 50 Mpg 1.9l Diesel Can Convert To Biodiesel Video on 2040-cars
West Palm Beach, Florida, United States
here is a video I just made in west palm beach. shows walk around and car driving
i have owned a few of these tdi's.... because they are amazing. I had one that had almost 400,000 miles on same motor. these diesel motors last forever. that's why ALL long distance trucks are diesel , because they last 1 millon miles and are great on gas with lots of torq. and this is a clean diesel. if your goal is to find a car that's good on gas and lasts a long time... there isn't a better option. call now 5 speed which gives you best gas mpg and last much longer then auto transmissions that vw has a problem with. and much more fun to drive. will spend 20 min teaching if you don't know how 1998 beetle tdi, only 160k miles. custom rims with matching Michelin tires. 1.9 turbo diesel motor starts up first crank, runs great tons of room inside, AC ice cold, radio works, inside is clean DID I MENTION 50 MPG??? I have driven a beetle tdi to boston from florida.... I got to north Carolina before I needed to get gas. a tank of diesel is only $55 to fill up. driving around town I get 500 miles out of tank and on i95 I have 750 out of a tank and have the video to prove it. these motors last 500,000 miles easy, look it up also you are able to convert this to bio desiel. many videos online on how to do it. and then you can drive on French fry oil... which you get used for free from many restaurants. how much money will you save on gas and insurance?? gas is $4 a gallon.... and as soon as anything happens in the world it will be at $5 car will probably pay for itself in just a few years and be free. 5613125four47 in west palm beach. $4900 firm. willing to trade for something if valued atleast 6k everything work. engine starts right up. cable for power window just snapped but motor and everything works, ill order the cable. ac works good |

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee teases return with a Countach
Fri, May 29 2015Unless you have an intense aversion to Jerry Seinfeld, it's hard not to find something to like about his show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. After all, the series combines funny people telling often hilarious stories while riding in ridiculously cool vehicles. The trailer for the sixth season is now online, and based on this tease, this definitely looks worth watching no matter what part of the videos interest you. Of course, it's the automotive portion that really grabs us, and Seinfeld has quite a fleet to showcase for season six. The trailer shows off a Lamborghini Countach, a '57 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, a classic Volkswagen Beetle in the green and white German Polizei livery, a Morgan, an Aston Martin DB5, and a Ferrari 308. On the more humorous side of things, the guest list at least includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey, Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher and upcoming host of The Daily Show Trevor Noah. Season six of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee premieres on Crackle on Wednesday, June 3, at 11:30 PM ET.
EU formally questions French government assistance of Peugeot's finance arm
Fri, 28 Dec 2012Recently, the finance arm of PSA/Peugeot-Citroën was in such debt trouble that it was pricing itself out of the car loan market. The rates it was paying to service its debt, which was rated one step above junk, were so high that it was forced to charge car-buying customers higher rates than they could find elsewhere. This was adding to Peugeot's already impressive woes by sending revenue out the door to competitors.
Two months ago a deal was worked out with the French government whereby the state would provide 7 billion euro ($9 billion USD) in bonds to guarantee the finance arm's loans. The French government could nominate someone to join the Peugeot board, Peugeot would guarantee more French jobs, and on top of that deal, other banks would provide non-guaranteed loans. The government would take no equity stake in the car company.
Although not yet finalized, the arrangement is meant to create some breathing room for Peugeot Finance to lower its interest rates for customers, and a government-nominated board member, Louis Gallois, was recently named to Peugeot's supervisory board. The arrangement was also openly questioned by at least three competitors: Ford, Renault - which is 15-percent owned by the French government after it received state aid - and the German state of Lower Saxony, itself a 15-percent shareholder in Volkswagen.
VW redoes A-ha's 'Take On Me' music video
Wed, 18 Sep 2013Volkswagen has been responsible for its fair share of witty, clever commercials. "Tiny Vader" might be the most popular, but somehow, we think this newest spot will find a big audience. VW delivers not so much a cover, but a reimagining, of 1980s Norwegian pop band A-ha's famous music video for "Take On Me."
The original opens with an animated motorcycle race, which is revealed to be part of a comic book. VW's version replaces the motorcycle with a Passat, which strikes us as an oddly sober choice when there are cars like the GTI and Beetle in VW's portfolio. But never mind that - take a look down below for the entire 46-second spot. For reference, we've also included the original music video. And if you aren't a fan of the musical stylings of A-ha, just think, VW's choice of 1980s music could have been much worse.
