DURING THE WINTER HE WOULD GO TO FLORIDA, THATS WHERE THE CAR WAS PARKED IN A GARAGE AND DRIVEN AROUND THE KEYS. HE WAS THE SECOND OWNER AND TOLD ME THAT IT ONLY HAS 18000 ORIGINAL MILES, AND IF YOU LOOK AT IT, IT'S VERY EASY TO BELIEVE THAT IT DOES. IN THE TIME HE HAD IT HE MADE A FEW CHANGES LIKE ADDING DISK BRAKES TO THE FRONT A NEW SET OF RIMS AND TIRES AS WELL AS A FEW CHANGES TO THE MOTOR TO GIVE IT A LITTLE MORE POWER AND I HAVE TO SAY IT REALLY GOES. HE USED IT VERY LITTLE AND DECIDED TO SELL IT SO I BOUGHT IT AND LOVE DRIVING IT. IT RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE NEW AND IS A REAL PLEASURE TO DRIVE. YOU CAN DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE WITH OUT ANY WORRIES. I'M SELLING IT BECAUSE I DON'T REALLY USE IT ANYMORE AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOMEBODY ELSE ENJOY IT. New VW Beetle Convertible ad needs no disguise

Convertibles make you do funny things. Ask someone if they'd drive a hardtop in near freezing temperatures with all the windows down and they might not even answer, thinking the question so ridiculous. Give that same person a convertible they love and you might just have to ask them to please put the top up even when snow is on the ground.
That guy has to take precautions to enjoy his proclivities, and as this new ad for the Volkswagen Beetle Convertible shows, not everyone understands. Have a watch below, and note that there's just one woman in the minute-long spot, and she's nowhere near the car. Seriously, why didn't VW run this commercial during the Super Bowl?

After adding Italian motorcycle icon Ducati to its stable and spending $5.6 billion on the rest of Porsche, Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn says he's done shopping for a while.
"We have enough to do at the moment in taking our twelve brands to where we want to be," Winterkorn tells German newspaper Handelsblatt.

Reggae super-duper-star and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jimmy Cliff has been using music to send positive vibes out into the universe for decades now, so its no surprise that his message on behalf of Volkswagen is one of redemption.
Dubbed Sunny Side, this web-spot is VW's warmup of sorts for what promises to be another blockbuster year in the world of Super Bowl commercials. Without giving away the game, the euphonious commercial sees Cliff opening his arms and his heart to some YouTube 'celebrities' that might see courser treatment from the likes of Tosh.0, for instance. We can't help but be reminded of Coca-Cola's legendary 1971 Hilltop spot with the "I'd like to buy the world a Coke" lyric, too.
