This is a very good looking and good running Volkswagen Jetta 2.5L five Cylinder Engine. Heat &AC Works and CD and Radio are fine. I purchased this car from a dealer auction with the purpose of retailing it on my lot. However after I drove this car about 30 miles I noticed when I would slow down and the automatic transmission would down shift it would seem to slip back into second gear rather than a smooth transition. I added some transmission fluid to the car and it drives fine but seems to slip at the lower gears. Also there is a dent on the passenger right door that I did not notice when I bought it at auction. I have photographed the pictures of it here for you to see. If these are not clear enough for you call me and I will text you some more photos of the dent. In the back seat there is a small hole in the Leather about and inch and half across. I have a photo for you to see. The car has good miles at 125515 and other than the issues I have sited is an alright VW. My Ebay rating is high because I always tell it like it is when it comes to my cars. I am selling the Car AS IS. I am making no guarantees about the longevity of the transmission, engine or anything else on this car. This model car retails For good money according to KBB and NADA. You can buy it for much less than that. This car is a steal for the right buyer. Please do not buy this car if you have no intentions of addressing the transmission on this car. It will go for a while, but I cannot and will not make any claims how long, because it is a VW. The reason the auction price will be low on this car is because I am telling you that this car will need some work. Call me with any questions. If you win the Bid and need it shipped you will pay for your own shipping. If you live in GA you will be responsible for paying the Tax on the car. We charge a Documentation Fee of $249 which is added to the sale of the bid price. Please if you do not have any intention of buying the car, do not bid. A deposit of $500 is required 48 hours after the close of the Bid. The Car will Sell my reserve is LOW! I reserve the right to end the auction early as I do have customers who come on our lot looking to buy Beetles as well. If you have never bought anything on Ebay I will cancel your bid so do not bid unless you have at least 10 transactions or more with Ebay. I will answer any questions you have just call me at 678-629-7174 on my cell or at our office at 770-805-8600. We are in Smyrna GA so you can come by and see us if you like. Thanks for looking at this car and good fortune with your bidding.

Volkswagen E-Co-Motion Concept brings electric mobility to the commercial set
Wed, 06 Mar 2013Volkswagen sees a future where the bulk of the world's freight is moved into city centers by train, then offloaded onto a fleet of smaller, light-duty commercial vehicles for final delivery. Those vehicles could wind up looking something like the company's E-Co-Motion Concept that debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The EV features a modular underfloor drive unit comprised of a battery, motor and gearbox that can be paired with any number of cab and body configurations to suit a buyer's needs, from a refrigerated box to a standard flat bed.
The E-Co-Motion Concept features a rear-mounted electric motor with 113 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque. A standard 20 kWh battery pack provides a driving range of up to 62 miles, while 30 kWh and 40 kWh packs could deliver 93 and 124 miles of travel, respectively. Check out the press release below for more information.
VW previews huge screens, gesture control with Golf R Touch Concept at CES
Tue, Jan 6 2015Volkswagen is showing off the future of infotainment and connected driving at CES 2015 with a fleet of concepts that highlight its latest technology. According to its displays, the coming years might mean gesture-based vehicle controls and electric cars that drive themselves to find their own charging locations. VW's biggest debut at CES is its next-gen infotainment system, dubbed MIB II. The setup supports a wide array of smartphone integration standards, including MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, to make sure that practically every smartphone user can pair the device's interface with the vehicle. Beyond just keeping occupants entertained, MIB II offers a system called Regular Routes that detects traffic along the driver's regular commute to work and suggests alternatives. The Parking Guide also helps find parking spots that are likely open. If MIB II represents the near future of VW infotainment, then the technology on the Golf R Touch Concept is the next step from there. It takes the brand's hot hatch and adds support for gesture controls inside, plus a trio of massive infotainment screens. This R features a 12.8-inch central infotainment screen, an 8-inch screen below it for things like the climate control and switching media and a customizable 12.3-inch display that digitizes the instrument panel. A camera in front of the central display waits for the driver's hands to make specific movements that activate various vehicle functions. Despite all of the potentially distracting screens, VW says the system offers control without requiring a look away from the road. VW hopes the technology reduces driver distraction and creates a closer relationship with the car. Another of the German automaker's big tech showcases is an e-Golf that demonstrates the potential future of both electric and semi-autonomous driving. This version can be charged inductively, rather than through a traditional power cord, and the exterior lights show when the vehicle is fully recharged. It's also equipped with the e-Station Guide that helps drivers find a charging location and tells them about the payment options there. This e-Golf's other major innovation is VW's Trained Parking system. A camera at the front scans the route to a parking space, and if the driver returns later, then the process can be done semi-automatically.
Witness this insane 736-hp VW Golf immolate its front tires
Mon, 11 Mar 2013There's torque steer and then there's what we'll from now on dub "The Boba," as in Boba Kettler. The German tuner has a way with the Volkswagen Golf, and the MkI example you see above has been touched with 736 horsepower - that's right, 96 more ponies than a new SRT Viper, all trying to get to ground through those two front wheels.
The 2.0-liter, 16-valve engine has an 8,800 rpm redline and is aided by a Garrett GTX3582R turbocharger shoving 50 psi through the internals. Other upgrades include a new ECU (natch) and a six-speed 'box among other treats. The rubber is Toyo R888s - street-legal competition tires. The result is enough smoke for three Chinese New Years when the lights go green. Indeed, the standing start isn't its forte, but it can apparently get from 62 miles per hour to 124 mph in five seconds.
Watch it go in the video below. And know that this isn't even Boba's best work; he's got a 900-hp MkII Golf that'll do 0-62 mph in 2.3 seconds.
