You are bidding on a 2000 VW Beetle TDI
My wife has been using this car to commute back and forth to work for 5 years. 44 miles each way.
Only one person riding in the car each day. We bought the car in 2008 and are the 2nd owners. It had 109k miles when we purchased it. It averages 40+ miles per gallon and it has to go up and down mountains because of the area we live in. It gets even better mileage on flat interstates on trips.
The car looks pretty good for a 13 yr old vehicle . It has a spot on the front passenger side fender where while having it serviced someone must have spilled some brake fluid on it and I didnt know right away and it took the clear coat off. It shows in one of the pics. We also only have one key and without a working remote. Anyone whos buys it and has the time can take it to a VW dealership and have one programmed. This is a used car and not giving any problems.
Nothing on the road gets better mileage than a TDI except an electric car. Look around, these cars hold value better than any simply because gas prices.
A local mechanic friend of mine told me he has seen these diesel TDI's with over 500k on them. He said the car will simply wear out before the engine.
Local pickup only or I will deliver up to 250 miles for

10 best new car deals in late September 2021
Wed, Sep 29 2021New car sales were drastically affected in 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but things started to show signs of recovery toward the end of the year before really coming on strong in the early months of 2021. Now there's an ongoing shortage of microchips causing a great deal of pricing fluctuation and a limited supply of certain vehicles. That doesn't mean there aren't still great deals on new cars, though. Using data provided by TrueCar, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best automotive deals for September 2021. WeÂ’ve noted the original MSRP, the average transaction price, and the total savings in both dollars and as a percentage of the original sticker price. Basically, weÂ’ve done all the hard work for you! So now, all you need to do is compare deals, go on a few test drives, and maybe drive away in a great car (and an even better bargain).
VW teams up with legendary electronic musicians Kraftwerk for 3D Autobahn concert
Fri, Jan 9 2015Electronic music fans know Kraftwerk. To paraphrase a famous TV anchor, they're kind of a big deal. The band is in the midst of an eight-concert show at Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie, which includes a full 3D accompaniment. Why, you ask, is this on Autoblog, then? Well, Volkswagen is sponsoring it, highlighting the role that its iconic Beetle played on the band's equally iconic fourth album, Autobahn. And besides, it's Friday afternoon, and who doesn't want to listen to the soothing synth notes of early EDM pioneers? Check out the featurette on the connection between VW and Kraftwerk, and then for giggles, scroll down and give the first track of Autobahn a listen. This content is hosted by a third party.
