The Body Was Completley Dissasembled And Taken Down To Bare Metal And Any Defects Were Corrected. The Car Is Absolutley Rust Free! It Received A High Quality Paint Job In A Beautifull Light Blue Color. All Exterior Chrome Trim Including Doors , Fenders And Running Board Steps Were Purchased New. All Rubber Seals For All Windows Were Purchased New And Are In Perfect Condition. The Rubber Gaskets Around The Fenders , Hood Lid , Trunk Lid And Both Doors And Windows Were Purchased New. The Rubber Grommets For The Bumper Brackets Are Not Installed But Are Included In The Sale.

 

EXTERIOR:

All Window Glass Is Original Volkswagen Glass , They Are All In Great Condition , None Are Cracked Or Broken. The Tailights Are Original Hella Heart Lamps With Original Snowflake Lenses And Work Perfectly. The Headlights Are Also Original Glass Oval Lamps. Being A European Model This Car Comes With Factory Semaphores, The Units Installed Are The Original Volkswagen / Hella Parts That Were Restored And Work Perfectly.

 

INTERIOR:

The Completed Interior Has Been Re-done. Both Front And Rear Seats Have Been Re-Uplstered In White Vinyl With Exterior Matching Blue Piping. All Floor Carpets Including The Rear Storage Compartment Have Been Replaced With Charcoal Color, German Fabric. The Dash Was Painted To Match The Exterior. The Headliner Is Also New, Done In White To Match The Seats. The Shift Knob Was Painted And Has A New Knob Installed, The Emergency Brake Was Also Painted And Has A New Rubber Boot Installed. The Window Cranks And Door Handles Function Perfectly. The Car Will Come With Its Factory Radio Head Unit Although It Is Not Connected It Also Has A Blaupunkt Speaker Installed But Not Connected. The Cars Has Its Original Ashtray , Speaker Grill And Glove Box Door, The Glove Box Has A New Aftermarket Liner Installed.  The Guage Works Perfectly. The Trunk Are Received New Black Carpet And The Fuel Take Was Painted In Black And Looks Great!

 

MOTOR / TRASMISSION:

This Car Has 1300 Volkswagen Motor That Came Off Of A 1971 Beetle, It Is Not The Original Motor To This Car. It Has Received A Full Tune Up To Include New Spark Plugs And Cables, The Carburator Was Rebuilt And Tuned , Fresh Oil Change , All Hoses Have Been Replaced. The Car Will Also Come WIth A New Battery. Buyers Please Note, The Owner Of This Car Has Kept The Original 1954 Motor In His Possesion That Has Not Been Re-ffeshed With New Pistons And New Piston Rings, It Was Pulled Out Of The Car When It Was Purchased And Stored Away And He Has Recently Bagan Working On Its Restoration It Is In Good Shape And Is Available For For Sale Seperatley If You Are Interested. The Trasmission Currently Installed Is The Standard Volkswagen 4 Speed And Is In Perfect Condition, Gears Go In And Out Smoothly And No Grinding.

 

WHEELS / SUSPENSION:

The Wheels Are Custom Made 17 Inch Deep Dish Wheels. The Rears Have An Agressive Lip And Slightly Cambered They Are Wrapped In New Kumho Ecsta 205/40 ZR17 Tires , The Fronts Have Slightly Shorter Lip And Are Wrapped In New 195/40 R17 Yokohama Tires. The Wheels Were Two-Tone Color Matched To The Body, The Car Runs Smooth And There Are No Rubbing Issues, Feel Free To Drive It Where Ever You Choose! The Rest Of The Suspension Is All Familiar Factory Parts With Drop Spiddles Installed In Front And Has Been Lowered In The Rear. The Car Has A Fantastic Stance!

If you wish to have the car shipped to you, it is the buyers responsibility to provide the shipping company and handle all details relating to pick up and drop off, I will gladly hold the car in my possession for a reasonable amount of time while all arrangements are made. If you are local arrangements must be made after the end of the auction for pick-up from my location.

I will accept a USPS Money Order, Personal Check or Cashier’s Check. Be advised, the vehicle and title will not be released until the full payment has cleared my personal bank.
