The Little Red Convertible You Have Been Looking For !!! on 2040-cars

This is a classic, 80% restored.

I found the car about 4 years ago in a shed and have been puttering and restoring since then.

The removable hard top is a little rough,
but usable in a pinch.

The convertible top is in very rough shape,
but usable in a storm.

The frame has been restored with extra plates welded in the typical weak spots.

The drive train is in great shape.

Most recent upgrades have been to the motor,
i.e. new coil, new brake master cylinder, new clutch master cylinder.

This was the first year of the 1500cc engine but the Brits did not upgrade the 1200cc rated radiator, so I did.

There is a new 30% dual-core extra capacity radiator installed with all new hoses, 2012.

Horizontal flow Stromberg carburetor rebuilt 2011.

At this point, the car looks good, runs great,
but if I were to keep it, I would start work on body improvements.

Very little rust,
lots of body panels sections have already been cut, welded, and replaced:
but there is a dent and ding here and there.

It has been in a few parades, as it is now, and will still turn some heads.

If you are in the Port Clinton, Ohio area, you have probably seen my wife and I going to dinner quite a few times in it.

Runs great, I drive it daily. 

When sold, buyer will be responsible for pickup arrangements. 
Again, the car does well, but it 40 years old, I would not want to fly in a drive it 500 miles home without a backup plan.
