The winter storage crunch, yes even in Southern California, has me scrambling for space and this amazing Spitfire which I enjoyed all Spring and Summer must find a home. Located with just 23,000 original miles from its original owner who bought it at Hollywood Sports Cars, this wonderful car needed its dull original paint redone, all the hydraulics replaced, and an all new cooling system and hoses, belts etc. We did a new radiator and all the senders, and then had the seats redone to factory houndstooth and a Brand New Robbins Convertible top, not some cheapie but the best with zip out rear window. This car has the desirable overdrive, and runs like a sewing machine. It is unmolested with all its original equipment except a radio, and drives beautifully. It has four brand new Kumho radial tires, and the paint work was done over the original in the correct white. There was no body work or damage and definetly zero rust, and the paint job is very high grade exterior only , color sanded and buffed out to a beautiful shine, and then all lables and the very expensive rear luggage rack all replaced carefully.

Super Value here for just a real find and we found a BRAND NEW factory full tonneau for the car as well! See my feedback; this is a GREAT ONE and NO RESERVE. Grab It!

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
