1970 Triumph Spitfire Mk3 w/Factory Hardtop

This Triumph Spitfire is in very original condition: the odometer and title indicate 38.5K miles. It appears to have received one respray years ago in the proper factory color. The factory hardtop is in very good condition - the headliner is very good, backlight seals are weathered. This TR runs quite strong - no overheating or oil issues. Modified exhaust provides a healthy raspy sound. Clutch and transmission operate as they should. Rear end and 'doughnuts' are good, no whine or slop. The suspension is very tight. Brake master cylinder is weak, but there is no pulling upon braking. All gauges and electrical systems are fully functional. Factory AM radio and speaker are working.

Paint - good: older respray, some fading/crazing, all chrome/trim present, all correct badges (including rare 1970 bulls-eye) present, windshield seal weathered
Body- good: small rust bubble on trunk lid, minor rust in LR quarter, rust in R footwell, no rust in trunk, front cap excellent
Interior- all original carpeting, door panels, dash, seats (some issues w/ padding), all trim present
Electrical: all systems working, factory Leyland AM radio
Mechanical: strong 1300cc engine, excellent transmission, excellent clutch, excellent rear, good hydraulics (brake master weak), performance dual exhaust
Tires: very good, on Minilite-style wheels
Tops: Very good factory hardtop, very good black softtop, tonneau, boot

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
