Hello!
I'm selling my 1977 Triumph Spitfire 1500 w/Rare hardtop. Car has 96,000 miles. I don't want to sell it but I'm getting married and need the money. This car has had over $7000+ of work done to it in the past 10 months or so including:

Rebuilt Engine (Have list of everything done)
New Catalytic Converter
New Clutch Master Cylinder
New Rotor & Distributor Cap
New Fuel Pump
New Battery
New Cylinder Head Gasket Set
New Thermostat
New Alternator Belt
New Oil Filter
New Air Filter
New Lower and Upper Radiator Hoses
Nearly all new misc. Hoses
New Retrosound Stereo and 4 Speakers installed. Stereo is amazing and does not take away from classic look-see link below
New Tires
+ Other Misc. Work and parts.

Also had Radiator sent out and completely cleaned/flushed to set up for Evans waterless coolant. This coolant has 375 degree boiling point and is a great addition to the restoration of this car.

Have receipts and proof of all work done.

Car runs great, starts right up, idle is perfect, no problems under the hood.

Cons:
Paint on hood is cracking and could use re-paint - but still shines and looks nice
Speedometer needs new cable and stopped working about 100 miles ago. (Cable only about $20-$30)
Hard Top lining has tear but again, still nice.
Passenger door handle has trouble opening from outside - Easy fix.
Carpet/seals need replacing if want to bring to full restoration, but not necessary.

I will also throw in vintage Spitfire racing style seat covers and a $115.00 gift certificate to spitfireoptions.com where you can buy custom parts for the spit!

In the car over $14,000.
Any questions or appointments feel free to contact me,
Thanks alot

If you live out of state or too far away, I will help out by giving $500 toward shipment on buy it now purchase!

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
