Restoreable Mk 4 Spitfire on 2040-cars

This is a pretty solid Spit, but has been sitting for close to 20 years.  It was driving when parked, had no issues: good oil pressure, smooth transmission and clutch, recent brake job.  Suffered storm damage to bonnet from a falling power pole, see photos.

Frame appears solid, passes a "pick hammer" check except for some rust at front, ahead of front suspension.

Tires are junk, top vinyl is very stiff, probably can't be saved, but bows, latches are all fine.  Carpets are ruined, some floor pan rust holes.

Bottom line, this is a good candidate for a body-off restoration, but all complete, most of body panels solid, engine should recover without major work.

Plan to bring a trailer, ideal to bring some tires if possible; arrangements for temporary loaners can be made.
