Purchased this car off of an older woman whose children had fixed it up for her to enjoy. Car was not running and clutch was not working. Fixed these two problems by opening carburetor and freeing seized pin as well as removing transmission and replacing missing bushing. After which car was wet sanded and painted. It was noted that trunk hood was in poor condition and I planned on replacing it in the future.

This is a project car that needs a lot of work. Right now it is 20:20 looks good at 20 yards away going 20mph. The car does run great however I know that if someone with some knowledge tuned it some, it could run even better. I just had it out and about for the PA Roadster Factory Summer Party and put the last 150 miles on it. Things that I had planned on replacing in the near future included the seats, radiator, tires, interior panels and trunk hood. I had wanted to drain the brake lines out, refill them and bleed them as the brakes have a pocket of air somewhere in the line and require one pump every now and then. It should be noted that the fenders are not the 1980 stock models but an earlier models fenders I substituted. I have not reconnected the radio after replacing the gearbox cover with a new plastic one.

Shipping is responsibility of the buyer.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
