1979 Triumph Spitfire for Sale. Designed as an economy British sports Car similar to Austin Healey's Sprite and MGB's Midget, these cars provided a sports car enthusiast an economical sports car to drop the top and head out for a cruise! A much smaller version than the TR6, the much lighter Spitfire is powered by a 91 CI, 4 Cylinder with a weber carb with washable  filter and backed by a 4 speed transmission(non overdrive) Finished in dark red,(paint could use a coumpounding and polish) it's got a good soft top and tonnaeu cover wich unzips down the middle , and a set of Triumph's factory rally rims carrying BF Goodridge 175/70R 13's. The interior is in good shape but seat foams could use refreshing with the addition of an AM/FM cassette stereo. Sporty as well as economical, and ready for FUN! This is my fathers car it was garage kept since we purchased it for him in 2010,since then ive installed a weber carb and done regular maintenance(oil,fluids,filters.ect.) car has been sitting since begining of summer so it has a slight hard start in morning  but ounce its hot runs awsome ,car has a dual monza exhaust (wich sounds great),car could use a freshening up on the paint  up.and there is a dent next to handle on passenger side where my customer backed into the car 2 weeks ago.
