1979 Triumph Spitfire Base Convertible 2-door 1.5l on 2040-cars
Dover, Tennessee, United States
Here for your bid to buy a fun little Triumph Spitfire 1500 in bright red , this is a fun car to drive and always draws a crowd. It comes with several extra parts to include the jack and lug wrench, a interior tonneau cover, some additional weather strip plus other items. I purchased this car here in Dover from an 80 year old gentleman who really liked this car but could no longer get into it like he used to was his words...
The car runs and drive good, doesn't smoke or knock, gearbox shifts like it should, under the hood (sorry Bonnet) it is super clean, it is not a show car but you won't be disappointed. Tires are serviceable but do look worn on outside edges, Driver's seat could use some attention mainly padding. I offer 100% money back if not as described or you are unhappy in any form with this car. Lots of fun car for very little money to invest and drive away with. I have a clear Tennessee title in my name which you will get upon receipt of correct funds along with the car. Please be prepared to send a 500.00 deposit within 72 hours of end of auction. I reserve right to sell locally and end auction early if needed. Any questions please contact me at, nine-3- one-2 one - seven- 0 - one - 0 three. Happy bidding and good luck. Thanks but I don't need assistance selling this car... Shipping is your responsibility or you can come to beautiful Land Between the Lakes and drive it home.... P.S. I tried to get photos to line up correctly even called EBay, they couldn't explain what happened.sorry |

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
