This auction is for a 1978 Triumph Spitfire.

It’s in immaculate original condition.

A real lightly driven Survivor.

It is Brooklands Green with a tan interior.  Currently has. 26,300 miles...it is absolutely 100% rust free. And has not even been hose washed in 20 years
Stored under 5 layers of sheets and blankets...

It has 4 new tires. (25) Miles on them. New stainless exhaust.  Beautiful super immaculate floors and suspension.....

Interior is as close to perfect as u can get ...... seats have original factory tan covers installed since new. Carpet and all materials in interior are as new.

Engine tranny and clutch are excellent, no drips whizzing or mess. Tonneau cover and boot are excellent. A couple of snaps are gone.

All glass, lenses chrome are 100%   HEI ignition starts instantly. No smoke or noises or marks of wear or abuse anywhere.  Nothing on this car has ever been abused.

Turn signals light but don’t flash.  A common occurrence, I have found.

Please look close at details in pix. You will see a 99% original and unmolested survivor. Nobody fixed anything, didn’t need it...

This is a very honest description of a 37 year old auto.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
