Up for sale is my 1975 Triumph Spitfire.  This car was repainted and reupholstered in 2008.  During that time the motor and tranny were sent out to Britek in New Hampshire for a full overhaul.  The engine has a Reznor Cam and Stelite valves.  This car comes with factory overdrive and hardtop.  The Triumph has CD player, minilite wheels, and new tires.  Although this is not a points car it shows very nicely as a daily driver.  This is a very reliable British car.  The ignition has all been replaced with Crane Fireball parts.  This car will come with $500 worth of brand new spares.  For performance upgrades this car has a Pecos hedder and full quad Monza exhaust, plus a Webber dual carb.  This car performs, handles and brakes with no issues.  I would not hesitate to drive it on any long distance trip.  This car has never seen snow and hardly any rain.  Very solid frame and body with no rust.  The hardtop is also painted in matching British racing green.

Thank you for looking.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
