Owner of this Spitfire for 4 years, keeping it garaged all the time and doing significant improvements. It's a nice running red sports car -- it has no rust and never been in an accident. Mileage is about 68,000 miles but the odometer has quit but the speedo and tach work fine. I purchased it from a car dealer in Ohio in an Ebay bid, he obtained it from an estate sale from a man who had several triumphs, it had clearly been well taken care of.

Here is a list of items I have done since I bought the car: newer tires and beauty rings, new battery, new muffler, new brakes pads-cylinders-hoses, new canvas soft top, new windshield, new carpeting and seats re-foamed and repaired, added cd/radio, had professional shop rebuild the carburetor and distributor, replaced the head gasket and thermostat, new clutch slave and master cylinder, new generator, relined the gas tank, and added hydro struts to the hood. The paint has been touched up, looks great from 5 feet away but clearly the respray job done years ago was not perfect as you can find some small bubbles in the paint and one circle mark (not noticed by the average person). Key electrical and lights work. The car is not show quality but turns heads wherever I drive it, and its allot of fun to drive.

I will include a complete dust cover for the car, a black cover that goes over extra seat and back, all the manuals and a significant amount of parts and paint. If you wish to test drive it contact me. I'm selling it as I near retirement and I'm sending more time fishing.  Pretty firm on price given about $4000 in cost invested over the past couple years.

Buyer is responsible to pick up car or have it shipped at their cost.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
