This car is rust free solid with very very good original paint (from what i was told by my friend)..I got the car from a friend who since past and I put it back together for the family. The paint is not perfect. Has a few blemishes. It looks amazing and i have not waxed or cleaned it up since storage for last 10 yrs. What I did during reassembly:  The car has had almost all mechanic parts replaced or machined.. New valves and guides for unleaded gas but original head. Block has all new pistons, rings, bearings, cam etc etc etc.. New fuel pump, oil pump etc.. Trans is four speed with new syncros. New clutch, pressure plate etc.. Has all new front end components including tie rod ends, ball joints, springs shocks. Has new disc brake calipers and brakes. Has new back drums adn brakes. New fuel and brake lines.. i could go on. Has new seat cushions and covers. Has new top. I have put 25 miles on the reassembly. I did not rebuild or take apart rear has typical road noise..  The carpet was good decent shape so i just left it. I dont believe it is factory.  Car needs some small details to fit your liking. Best year i think and good for driver and local car shows..   Only 'big' thing is the emergency brake. All cables are there but one of the alignment guides keeps jumping off and sticking so i disconnected it in the car interior. Tires are 50%..
I work for a living so shipping will have to be arranged by appointment from whomever you arrange shipping from> I wont do the arrangements. NO Paypal. After being a member since 99 they now want too much of my personal information so i wont use it to receive payments. I will accept  POST OFFICE money orders only. Actually you will have to get several .. or CASH.  Car is sold completely as is with no returns. I have tried to represent it best i can. You are welcome to view it or have it viewed for you. Again and appointment is needed. Clear title..

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
