1966 Triumph Spitfire, Conv, 4-cyl, Stick, Ez Project, Cool Old Clasic, Getting on 2040-cars
Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, United States
I have a 1966 Truimph Spitfire I got on a trade deal for a corvette. The guy I got it from put new floorboards in it, well in the proses of doing it he cut the rear brake line, gas line, exhaust, and about a dime size bundle of wires that ran to the back of the car. He said it was so nothen got burnt or melted. Ive replaced the gas line, got some wire conectors for the wires, was just going to use piece of flex pipe and some clamps to fix the exhaust, as for the rear brakes, theres new wheel cylinders and drumbs on both sides, but that's it, so it needs shoes, kit, brake line, the guy also put in a new altnator, and belt, no top, but a cockpit cover, needs tires, body needs lots of work, ever panel has dents, not much rust, but needs a pro body person to straiten her out, pics probly look better then actualy is, wiper aren't hooked up, needs carpet kit, glass is good, windows go up and down, frame is good and solid, Ive only had it 2-3 weeks, so Im sure I don't no all, but I think that's all I can remember at this time, any ?? please ask, sold as is, and you have to come get it, again iots a project, but should be a nice ez one, and they are getting harder to find. Thank You |

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
