2008 Toyota Yaris S Sedan 4-door - Toyota Certified Warranty - Remote Start on 2040-cars
Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States
For sale is our 2008 Toyota Yaris S 4-door Sedan, Automatic transmission, with around 86,000 miles. This car is Toyota Certified which is a 7 year or 100,000 mile power train warranty which is transferrable to the new owner! Huge benefit!
This is the S sedan model which includes the nicer alloy wheels (no more missing hubcaps!) along with various body moldings, rear spoiler, and front fog lights and of course power windows and door locks. Also installed on this car is an aftermarket remote start which was professionally installed, so you can get the car started and warmed up in the winter and cooled down in the summer without having to get in it. All oil changes since we have owned it have been completed at the Toyota dealership and just a month ago the serpentine belt was also replaced at the Toyota dealer. No questions or stories with this car, we purchased it used from a Toyota dealer. This is a great 4 door car to commute with and has mostly highway miles since we have owned it, traveling from Fort Wayne to Indy. We average 34 mpg! Clean and clear title in hand. Overall the condition is good, there are a few minor marks on the outside of the car but nothing major. We take several hour long trips all the time with zero issues at all. It's a Toyota! Please contact us with questions or if you want to take a look at this Yaris. |

Scion reveals iM concept ahead of LA debut
Wed, 12 Nov 2014After dropping a teaser image on us a few weeks ago, Scion has revealed in full the new iM Concept it's bringing to the Los Angeles Auto Show next week. As expected, the concept is clearly a rebadged version of the Euro-market Toyota Auris, only with some "European Racing Circuit Styling" upgrades to make it look more aggressive.
Along with the Scion logos, the five-door hatch is treated to a deeper air dam flanked by angular vents with stacked fog lamps, beefed-up wheel arches linked by widened side sills and filled with 19-inch, anthracite-finish alloys on low-profile rubber. Vented brake discs and four-piston calipers join an adjustable suspension as show-worthy equipment upgrades.
The sporty treatment continues around back with a similarly aggressive rear bumper and roof spoiler. Even the wing mirrors are replaced with narrower units. Little wonder it's all done up in a shade Scion calls "incrediblue" that looks rather similar to what sister-brand Lexus would put on one of its F-branded performance models - or for that matter what corporate ally Subaru would put on an STI hot hatches like the WRX.

Lexus, Mazda win KBB 5-Year Cost To Own Awards
Wed, 05 Feb 2014We focus a lot on what new cars are like to drive, but it's difficult on a one-week loan to really get a sense of what a car is like to live with. Sure, we try to recreate that sense with our long-term vehicles, but even after a year, it's impossible to know fully learn about a car, particularly in terms of reliability and cost of repairs. For 2014 model year vehicles, Kelley Blue Book has put together a list of the most affordable vehicles over a five-year period.
At the tippy top of the list are Mazda and Lexus, with the Zoom-Zoom automaker winning the award for best non-luxury brand. Lexus, meanwhile, was the most affordable luxury marque over a five-year period. It's interesting to note, though, that not a single Mazda won its segment in this year's awards.
General Motors did quite well, taking eight segments, including both the subcompact and plug-in segments, with the gas-powered Chevrolet Spark and Spark EV. The Chevy Camaro SS and ZL1 took the high-performance car award. Toyota was well represented, with five winners split between the main brand (Corolla, Prius C and Tacoma) and Lexus (LS and RX).
