This is a very nice no smoking truck with every opititon that comes with a Platinum,,,4x4,,,anti- sway, electronic brake controller ,g2 back flip bed cover , moon roof, six window slide or open,, just has under 15000 miles,, no problems at all,,, we did drive it since it was new so there may be a scratch or two,, but never anything serious,, it has NOT been wreaked. While this truck is a 4x4, it has never been taken off road,, hell it never got out of the garage except when it was really pretty out, I did engage the 4 wheel drive monthly as per instructed by Toyota, just to keep everything lubed up. 2014 Toyota Aygo is so cross with itself
Mon, 03 Mar 2014It almost made it, but images of the redesigned Toyota Aygo have leaked ahead of its official debut at tomorrow's Geneva Motor Show. The new Aygo sports an aggressive look overall with a, um, mark on its face.
That distinguishing design feature aside, we quite like the angular headlights and muscular overall look of this little city car. The gaping trapezoidal air intake make the Aygo look more substantial, while swollen rear wheel arches hint at something sportier than your standard commuter device.
Sportiness, though, isn't likely to be a big part of the Aygo. As it's built on the same platform as the Citroën C1 and Peugeot 108, we should expect the same pair of gas-powered engines, which means at best, the Toyota will come to market with 82 horsepower under hood.
Toyota sells off Tesla shares, too
Fri, 24 Oct 2014The incredible rise of Tesla's stock price has done little to now stop two major shareholders from ditching their stake in the American EV manufacturer. First, Daimler, parent company of Mercedes-Benz, ditched its four-percent stake, and less than a week later, Toyota is doing the same thing, selling off an undisclosed bit of its Tesla investment.
The move comes as Toyota winds down sales of the RAV4 EV, which gets its batteries and electric motor from Tesla at the company's Fremont, CA factory.
"We have a good relationship with Tesla, and will evaluate the feasibility of working together on future projects," Toyota spokesperson Kayo Doi told Bloomberg via email.
