Brand New 275/70/18 Nitto Terra Grappler AT Tires
Very Clean, Very Nice, Well Maintained Truck
This auction is for a 2008 Toyota Tundra SR5 CrewMax TRD OFFROAD. This truck has a power driver seat, Leather Bucket Front Seats, Leather Folding Sliding Spilt Bench 2nd Row, Power windows, locks, and a power slide rear window w/ power defrost. The truck has 97,864 miles (mileage will vary somewhat as it is an everyday driven vehicle) but looks nearly new. It has a Brand New set of 275 70 R18 Nitto Terra Grappler tires on 18" Aluminum Wheels with TPMS Sensors. It also has the 5.7L iForce V8 engine and 6 speed auto transmisson. The interior is a immaculate and I would rate it at 95%. The leather has no cracks or tears, no stains in the carpet and nothing to be found wrong with it. THIS IS A NON SMOKER VEHICLE. The exterior of the truck is about 90% only has one or two minor scratches or dings that you can only see if the truck has just been washed. I tried to show the only one that can be seen in a picture, it is pictured just under the tailgate handle in the photo of the rear backup camera. There is nothing wrong with this truck functionally or cosmetically, however, the engine light is on which is very common in these trucks with this mileage, but when check by a mechanic was told there is nothing wrong mechanically with the truck and to keep driving it as is. It has Deep Tinted Windows and factory running boards (they are not installed), Backup Camera, 3" Leveling Kit (professionally installed & front aligned by certified technician), Power Down Rear Glass, Husky Liner Front Floor Mats, 6 disc CD Changer, Dual Climate Control, 3 keys and 2 keyless entry remotes, and Brand New Nitto Tires. It does not currnetly have a bedliner in it, but if the buyer would like, i have a friend that will do a spray in for $250. If you have any questions, Please email me. Everything works on this truck as it should and I don't know of a single thing wrong with it. You won't find a truck this old that is as clean as this one is. Bid with confidence. If there is something that I haven't pictured that you would like to see, please email me and I will get the pic for you. Toolbox will be included if buyer wants it, if not it will be removed)
Payment: A $500 deposit is to be made within 24 hrs through paypal, with the remaining balance paid by cash, Cashier's Check, or Bank Transfer within 5 days

Toyota GT86 engineers explored shooting brake and sedan variants, are they still in the cards?
Wed, 13 Mar 2013According to the Toyota UK blog, engineers for the automaker were so excited developing the GT86 coupe that they investigated producing a whole family of models based on the rear-wheel drive sports car. And at least one engineer - product chief Tetsuya Tada - still hopes it can happen, even if not everyone at Toyota is onboard. Tada: "Actually we tried to do this secretly but the executives found us out. They said: 'What are you doing? Will you please focus on the coupe.'"
Those mooted variants included both a four-door sedan and a shooting brake. Why? Aside from the pure excellence of a lightweight, brilliantly handling hatchback, Toyota was keenly aware of the fact that it may need to spread the cost of development out across several models. Tada says that's part of the reason why it was so easy to create the convertible. The company knew from the outset that a softtop version was in the cards, and built the machine's structure to accommodate having the roof sliced off.
Tada also made mention of the already-announced collaboration between Toyota and BMW. The engineer said that the GT86 was particularly helpful because it demonstrated just how successful a product conceived and designed by two different companies can be. While he didn't say exactly what Toyota and BMW are up to, it's clear the two are looking into a number of possibilities. It's an interesting read with a lot of
Toyota Me.We concept is a multifunction Tupperware car [w/video]
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Not to be outdone by the Renault Twin'Z concept penned by Welsh designer Ross Lovegrove, Toyota has partnered up with French designer Jean-Marie Massaud to create the 2013 Toyota Me.We Concept. Unveiled at Le Rendez-vous Toyota in Paris, the Me.We Concept is an attempt to imagine a car that can be appreciated by owners across a wide variety of lifestyles while being courteous to the environment, too.
From a "Me" perspective, the concept is highly customizable with removable body panels, and even though it might look like just a small hatchback from the outside, Toyota claims it can also be used as a pickup (with an extendable rear panel), a convertible (with a neoprene roof panel) and even an off-road vehicle. As for the "We" part of the car, it's a fully electric vehicle with individual in-wheel motors and a battery pack mounted under the load floor. The concept has a weight of around 1,600 pounds kept low thanks to an aluminum chassis, but it also features renewable bamboo wood for the floor in addition to the fully recyclable polypropylene exterior body panels. Jim Lentz exposes more details behind Toyota's move to Texas
Fri, 02 May 2014Toyota's North American CEO Jim Lentz has already given us a rough idea of what prompted the company's surprise move to the Dallas suburb of Plano, TX from its longstanding headquarters in Torrance, CA. A new story from The Los Angeles Times, though, delivers even more detail from Lentz on the reasoning for the move, what other cities were considered and why the company's current host city wasn't even in the running.
Of course, one of the more popular reasons being bandied about includes the $40 million Texas was set to give the company for the move, as well as the state's generous tax rates. According to Lentz, though, the reason Toyota chose Plano over a group of finalists made up of Atlanta, Charlotte and Denver, was far simpler than that - it was about consolidating its marketing, sales, engineering and production teams in a region that's closer to the company's seat of manufacturing in the south.
"It doesn't make sense to have oversight of manufacturing 2,000 miles away from where the cars were made," Lentz told The Times. "Geography is the reason not to have our headquarters in California."
