Up for sale is my 2006 Tundra 4x4. I am the second owner and purchased locally at the Toyota dealership. Timing belt was replaced by the Dealer when I purchased. Truck has no mechanical issues and has been well maintained. Front brakes replaced 1 month ago. Vinyl lettering to be removed upon purchase. I am the owner of a construction company and truck was used for traveling from job site to job site. I have put around 30,000 miles on since I purchased 3 years ago. Truck is in great condition and shows only normal wear and tear.
Auto Check shows a minor issue which was not an accident. Being a good samaritan, I went to help my elderly neighbor jump start his car that had a dead battery. He was attempting to push his car out of the garage as I was pulling into his driveway. His car started to roll and he panicked, opening his driver door against the Tundra passenger bed side. The repair was covered by his insurance and was simply a minor dent, not a collision.

Toyota i-Road is no less strange in the flesh
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We've seen plenty of three-wheeled creations in our day, but none quite like the Toyota i-Road Concept. The "personal mobility vehicle" offers seating for two with driver and passenger positioned in a tandem position. While that may sound more like a motorcycle than a car, the closed cockpit means riders don't need a helmet. The design also takes a page from the 2008 Peugeot HyMotion3 Concept with an articulating front suspension that allows the driver to lean through corners thanks to "Active Lean" self-balancing technology. Unlike the funky Pug, however, the i-Road is a fully electric plug-in vehicle.
While there are just five-horsepower on hand from an electric motor, the i-Road should serve up a range of around 30 miles thanks to its lithium-ion battery, and Toyota claims the cells can be topped off in three hours with a "conventional domestic power supply." Toyota sells off Tesla shares, too
Fri, 24 Oct 2014The incredible rise of Tesla's stock price has done little to now stop two major shareholders from ditching their stake in the American EV manufacturer. First, Daimler, parent company of Mercedes-Benz, ditched its four-percent stake, and less than a week later, Toyota is doing the same thing, selling off an undisclosed bit of its Tesla investment.
The move comes as Toyota winds down sales of the RAV4 EV, which gets its batteries and electric motor from Tesla at the company's Fremont, CA factory.
"We have a good relationship with Tesla, and will evaluate the feasibility of working together on future projects," Toyota spokesperson Kayo Doi told Bloomberg via email.
Tesla expects another higher-volume deal with Toyota in next few years
Tue, 09 Sep 2014Four months have passed since Toyota ended its relationship with Tesla Motors, in which the electric-vehicle specialist supplied full lithium-ion battery packs to the Japanese behemoth for its RAV4 EV rollout, of which 2,500 vehicles will be completed. Now, Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk has been heard suggesting that a future collaboration is likely within the next two to three years, and that it will probably be much larger than the last one.
Both Tesla and Toyota have sung each other's praises in the not-too-distant past, Toyota telling Autoblog back in May, "We have a good relationship with Tesla and will evaluate the feasibility of working together on future projects." According to Automotive News, Musk said of the Japanese giant, "We love working with Toyota... We have a huge amount of respect for them as a company and certainly much to learn."
Interestingly, though, the two automakers have rather divergent strategies for eco-friendly automobiles. Toyota, as you're surely aware, is the clear-cut leader in hybrids and has thrown its massive support in the direction of hydrogen fuel cells, while Tesla has invested heavily in battery-electric technology and high-speed charging stations.
