I am the original owner of this great little truck which was purchased new at Quality Imports Toyota in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The truck is a grey Toyota Tacoma automatic 2 door 4cyl. It is missing a small plastic plate under the right headlight and has some minor scratches. The truck has air conditioning and a touch Bluetooth cd/aux/radio display. It will allows you to take and make calls hands free as well as sync with your iTunes wirelessly. I had Toyota mount a hitch on the back so it's got the arm and ball and it's ready to tow! This truck runs like a champ and has no mechanical issues. I am also a nonsmoker and all the miles on the truck are highway miles from driving too and from work.
I want to do a local pickup with the truck. This means if you win the auction you'll have to pick it up from central florida. I also have a lien against the truck. Upon the purchase of the vehicle and amount deposited into my Paypal. I will need 7-10 business days for Southeast Toyota Finance to release the title. If you are purchasing the truck via a bank the process is a little easier because the title will be transferred electronically to the bank you got your loan through. Consumer Reports says Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevy are big winners in brand perception survey
Wed, 05 Feb 2014According to Consumer Reports, the automotive brands that stand out in the minds of car buyers are, in order: Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevrolet. This news comes after the magazine polled its readers, asking them to take into account vehicle quality, safety, performance, value, fuel economy, design/style, and technology/innovation - which are the factors that car shoppers are most influenced by.
It's important to note that this award is only about perception. In other words, it's perceived quality, not actual quality. "Often, perception can be a trailing indicator, reflecting years of good or bad performance in a category, and it can also be influenced by headlines in the media," said Jeff Bartlett, Consumer Reports deputy automotive editor.
The brand that made the biggest jump in perception amongst Consumer Reports readers is Tesla, which posted an impressive 47-point gain to finish in fifth place. Subaru is also notable for finishing in the top 10, despite being one of the smaller manufacturers doing business in the US. Toyota RAV4 "Adventure" brings the butch
Tue, 05 Mar 2013Just last week, your humble author had a 2013 Toyota RAV4 in his garage, and he couldn't help noting that even in mid-level XLE trim, its aesthetics lacked oomph, due in large part to its cheap-looking black bumpers and airy-looking wheel wells. Judging by the RAV4 "Adventure" on display at the Geneva Motor Show, someone at Toyota must've been thinking the same thing.
With Japan's biggest automaker understandably focused on bigger reveals, information on this butched-up softroader has proven to be hard to come by, with no press materials whatsoever. We don't even know if this is a pure concept or if it's actually being considered for production. Either way, we approve. The 20-inch dark-finish alloys probably don't do much for ride quality, but they certainly look nicely aggressive, as does the new lower fascia with its prominent lower lip. Other changes include beefier wheel arches, side rails, headlamps with integrated LEDs, twin-element fog lamps and mesh grille inserts. All of the changes are quite well integrated - enough so that the Adventure largely avoids looking like a SEMA refugee in person.
J.D. Power: Vehicle dependability at all-time high, Lexus and Porsche lead

Each year, J.D. Power and Associates surveys original owners of three-year-old vehicles to find out what kinds of problems they have had experienced over the last 12 months, and then it uses this data to create its annual Vehicle Dependability Study. This means that the models in the 2013 study are 2010 model year vehicles, and J.D. Power rates each make as well as the top individual models based on how many problems were experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100).
Debunking the idea that carryover models are more dependable than new or updated models, the 2013 study found that the average carryover model experienced 133 PP100, while all-new or redesigned vehicles for the 2010 model year had 116 PP100; vehicles that received minor changes fared the best with just 111 PP100. The overall average for all makes was 126 PP100, which is the lowest figure since the findings were first issued in 1989.
