I am selling my beloved truck, because I (sigh) now need a "family vehicle". This truck is in very good condition. Oil changed every 5k precisely with Mobil 1 synthetic, OEM Toyota filter, and OEM drain plug gasket. I am the only owner since new, and this is a non-smoking vehicle. This truck has never been offroading, and is heavily upgraded; 2010 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner Standard Cab Truck runs and rides perfect. Everything is in very good condition, interior looks as close to new as you're going to get. Approx. $8,000 in upgrades alone. There are no dents, dings, or scratches. I have babied this truck. There are typical love bug marks on front (last picture), par for the course in florida. Just an amazing truck.

Car thief caught in McDonald's drive-thru after placing order with owner
Mon, 20 May 2013If you're going to drive a stolen car in a town of roughly 77,000 people - about the same size as Scranton, Pennsylvania or Ogden, Utah - you want to be very careful about where you drive that stolen car to eat. That's the lesson Katherine York of Kennewick, Washington learned when she was arrested for being in possession of a stolen Toyota 4Runner that also happened to have a bunch of stolen clothes from JC Penney and Sears in it.
Virginia Maiden woke up Tuesday, May 14 to find her 1995 4Runner - that she thought she forgot to lock - swiped from her apartment building. At 3 PM that afternoon, while working her shift at the drive-thru at McDonald's that day, she saw her truck in line. York hadn't even gone far - the McDonald's is not even five miles from Maiden's apartment. Maiden called the police, they showed up just as York was leaving, and York made another vehicle switch, this time into a black-and-white for a trip to the Benton County jail. They don't have McDonald's there, but she won't have so far to go to eat.
Toyota asking NHTSA for waiver on 206K vehicles
Fri, 14 Mar 2014Toyota has filed a petition with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration asking for a waiver to avoid recalling about 206,271 2012-2014 Camry, Avalon, Corolla, Sienna, Tundra and Tacoma vehicles, some of its most popular models. The affected vehicles contain seat heaters that might not meet government flammability standards. Toyota says in the waiver that "the chance of fire or flame induced by a malfunctioning seat heater is essentially zero," according to The Detroit News. The automaker notes the part makes up less than one percent of the seat's weight.
Initial reports of the problem arose in late January when Toyota issued a stop-sale order for 2013 and 2014 model year versions of those vehicles. The automaker says that there have no been reports of fires or injuries in the affected cars, and the problem was discovered during testing by the South Korean government, according to The Detroit News.
We've reached out to Toyota for comment on this development and are awaiting a reply. We'll update this post if and when we hear back.
