Hello, to all the eBay buyers! We have 2005 Toyota Tacoma V6 SR5 model in almost mint condition. It has an automatic transmission, cloth interior, cold a/c, 1 c/d changer player, Sirius satellite , smoke flawless aluminum rims, 2 doors, 6 cylinder. This car runs and drives strong. The engine sounds quiet. The transmission shifts smooth. The muffler sounds quiet as well.Tires look like they still have about 80% of their lives ahead of them, Oil and filter were replaced recently. Like i said this truck runs and drives really nice with no issues however the truck has a minor rust spot on the rear bumper. The exterior paint is silver which is very good. The interior is pretty much mint condition. The a/c is blowing fresh cold air. The radio and the power window work as intended to . All maintenance has been updated with the car. Toyota demos its TRD Pro Series line [w/video]
Fri, 07 Feb 2014With a rich history of creating off-road worthy trucks and SUVs and a somewhat bland impression of its brand overall, Toyota has wisely created a line of TRD Pro Series vehicles to spice up its showrooms and newly engage customers. Debuting at this year's Chicago Auto Show before rolling into dealers this fall, the TRD-tuned vehicles include the 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra, all with added rough-road gear and amped-up looks.
The TRD Pro Series trucks might end up, in many cases, as lifestyle accessories for outdoorsy types, but that doesn't mean they're all show. TRD springs and Bilstein dampers are set up for off-road performance, while skid plates will protect the softish underbellies of these would-be rock-crawlers. The trio all get lifted over stock height, as well, with two-inch gains for the Tundra and Tacoma (lovingly referred to as "Taco Supreme" in the Toyota press release), and an inch-and-a-half rise for the 4Runner.

Eiji Toyoda dead at 100
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Toyota has had number of chiefs over its 76-year history, but none ever served as long as Eiji Toyoda. The younger cousin of the company's founder served as president of the automaker from 1967 to 1982 and as chairman of the Toyota Motor Corporation for another ten years following the unification of the manufacturing and sales divisions.
During his 25 years at the helm, Eiji Toyoda (pictured above in 1967) was credited with establishing the company's headquarters in Toyota City, spearheading the development of the Prius, expanding production overseas for the first time, launching the Lexus brand and turning Toyota from a minor player into one of the largest automakers in the world.
Even after his retirement in 1992, he remained an honorary chairman and close advisor to his successors, and chaired the company's museum. He died of heart failure, ending a 100-year life that started on September 12, 1913, before the company that bore his family's name (albeit slightly modified) had even started building automatic looms, let alone automobiles. We extend our condolences to the Toyoda family and our congratulations on an accomplished life.
