2002 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road Double Cab SR5 4 x 4

I am listing my Tacoma for sale as I have decided to purchase a new 2014 Tacoma. These trucks are very rare & hard to come by, especially the Double Cab with the TRD Off-Road Package. This comes equipped with everything from factory including: Full Power Options, Cruise Control, C/D & Cassette, Running Boards, A/C, Bed Liner, Tow Package. This truck has been very well maintained (2nd Owner) with an extensive service history.

Interior: Interior is in good condition without any unusual odors or smells. Non-Smoker. Seats & carpets are in great condition with very little wear. All power options work, cold A/C, everything functions as it should. Super Clean!

Exterior: Exterior is in good condition as well for the year. I tried to take as many photos and angles of the truck as possible. Please keep in mind that it is a used vehicle so normal wear & tear is to be expected. If you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to contact me. I will do my best to describe the truck in as much detail as possible. This is a very sharp truck!

Mechanical: Very well maintained with extensive service history (23 Records indicated on Carfax + other records on Toyota Website). There are no known repairs needed, truck runs & drives great, shifts as it should, stops, turns, goes, without any unusual noises or issues. Mechanically sound to the best of my knowledge. Vehicle just serviced & inspected.

There have been many other services completed on the Tacoma to ensure it lasts a life time including regular oil changes, tire rotations, maintenance inspections, and so forth. If you have any questions about the truck, please contact me. I would happy to discuss it with you!

Again, if you have any questions regarding the truck feel free to contact me. I can be reached at (440)225-3783. Serious inquiries only please! I do require a $250 deposit upon successful bid and full amount within 7 days. I will try to help in any way that I can in helping you with shipping or possibly picking you up at Cleveland Airport. The truck is being sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied, I encourage you to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have prior to purchase.

KBB values the truck in Very Good condition at $11,200. I would categorize this truck in very good condition, but have reduced the price to help with buyer's travel expenses.

**In addition, I have a color-matched LEER camper shell I can included with the truck for an additional price**

**Please note: In the picutres there is some water puddles under the truck, these are not leaks from the truck, but rather rain puddles. Just wanted to clear that up so there is no confusion**

Toyota GT86 CS-R3 rally car presages for-sale customer racecar

Thu, 31 Jul 2014

Rallying may enjoy a very strong association with all-wheel drive, but it wasn't so long ago that the World Rally Championship was populated by cars that slipped and slid across gravel and tarmac using rear-wheel drive. One of those was the Toyota Celica. While the little Celica eventually joined the gravel-spewing masses with an all-wheel-drive rally car, Toyota is returning to its rear-drive rally roots with a modified version of the critically acclaimed GT86.
Called the CS-R3, the new model boasts all the necessary changes to turn the diminutive twin of the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ into a car capable of tackling the tough, twisting paths that are so routinely conquered by the world's rally cars. That means, of course, the CS-R3 has gotten a power bump.
Expected output sits between 240 and 250 horsepower, thanks to a new racing exhaust and manifold, as well as other changes. The ECU has been replaced with an item a bit more suited to racing, while the compression ratio has also been adjusted to boost the output.

Toyota mulling Cummins diesel for Tundra?

Mon, 02 Sep 2013

When Bloomberg spoke to Toyota USA Sales CEO Kazua Ohara recently, we highlighted his comments on the possible return of the Toyota Supra. However, the interview started with Ohara discussing the Tundra, and how it would take time to pinpoint and hone the pickup truck's brand image in the minds of consumers. That effort could get a boost, with a report in Edmunds saying that Toyota is "evaluating" the addition of a Cummins turbodiesel to the Tundra's engine options.
The Cummins powerplant is one of two options for the moment, the other being a hybrid powertrain. If the oil-burner got the thumbs-up, Toyota would follow the recent example of Nissan, which announced it would put a Cummins turbodiesel into its 2015 Titan. While the two Japanese companies make a closer comparison since they're both talking about Cummins applications in light-duty trucks, if it happens, it could be seen as further diluting the once-exclusive tie-up that Ram trucks has had with Cummins even though Ram has used Cummins in its heavy-duty truck.
Toyota hasn't said when it will decide on which direction to take, but either will be a move for the better in the view of segment watchers; PickupTrucks.com said the first of its top-five fixes for the Tundra would be a better engine, perhaps a diesel-electric hybrid from Toyota's Hino unit. Cummins told Edmunds it can supply a second manufacturer with the 5.0-liter diesel that Nissan will be using, so we wouldn't be surprised to see it end up in a Toyota or somewhere else.

Toyota U2 urban utility concept inspired by Maker Faire [w/video]

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

There's a quiet revolution happening in US cities. People want to mix an urban lifestyle with a connection to nature and appreciation for craftsmanship. The result of all of this is folks pursuing things as varied as urban farming, home brewing and the whole maker movement. Toyota thinks it has the perfect concept for these intrepid customers with its new Urban Utility concept that it is debuting during a panel discussion hosted by Make: magazine in San Francisco and debuting publicly on September 20 at the World Maker Faire in New York City.
The Urban Utility concept can best be described as a modern take on the old panel van. Designers from Toyota's Calty Design Research center in California interviewed Maker Faire participants to find out what its users want from a novel vehicle like this. "Toyota saw an opportunity for a new approach to an urban vehicle based on increasing re-urbanization of our cities and urban drivers' desire for flexibility, fun and maneuverability," said Kevin Hunter president of Calty.
On the outside, the Urban Utility doesn't really scream for attention. It's meant to meet users "desire for greater utility but a smaller vehicle footprint," according to the release, but the shape is still very much a van. The designers do try to lend it some panache with the LED headlights up front and checker board side panels. It's really more about utility than looks, though, because the roof can roll back for taller loads, the rear glass retracts into the tailgate, and the whole rear can fold down as a ramp to load stuff more easily into the cabin. Toyota isn't talking about a powertrain yet but claims that the underbody is also especially durable for a long life in the big city.
