Testing the waters with my truck. I purchased a new vehicle and would like to let some go. It's a 2000 v6 4x4 tacoma with a TRD supercharger. It has a upgraded URD pulley, TRD headers, magnaflow exhaust, front Warn locking manual hubs, 37 inch Super Swampers with 70-80% tread left, adjustable coil overs in front. Also installed is a 6 inch Fabtech suspension lift with a 3 inch body lift. A/c works fine. Small tool box that works but needs new locks.

Bad but not really bad.

*Driver window regulator needs to be changed.
*Needs fuel upgrade due to more compressed air from supercharger. Urd sells a 7th injectors kit for roughly $950 that solves the issue all together. I just dealt with it by driving a little lower on the gears especially going up a incline using higher rpms
* 1st gear jumps out now and then if you don't hold it in. Never got a chance to fix it but it's a cheap fix which is the shift lever bushing and seat. Parts are roughly $20 and 1-2 hours time.

Prefer local buyer or buyers out of state will have to set up transport and delivery of vehicle after purchase!

Automakers donating money, vehicles and supplies to Oklahoma tornado relief effort

Judging by the destruction the Oklahoma City area experienced earlier this week, residents are going to need a lot of help in coming months. Fortunately, a number of automakers - including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota - have stepped up to donate money, supplies and vehicles to aid in the recovery and rebuilding processes.
Here's a quick rundown of which automakers have pitched in and what each contributed so far:
Ford Motor Company has donating $250,000 and a Transit Connect to the American Red Cross, and it will match all other donations made to the Red Cross (up to $250,000) using a special URL tied to the latter's website (link here). Additionally, its local Oklahoma dealers have thrown in an extra $150,000 for the United Way and the automaker will be offering an extra $500 toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.

Toyota Aygo stars in 'invisible driver' prank

We love a good automotive-themed prank. Rémi Gaillard remains a favorite, although maybe we should take a closer look at MagicOfRahat, another online prankster. Rahat, who has developed a bit of a reputation for blending in with car seats, giving the impression that there's no one behind the wheel, has taken his talents to Europe, in a new video for Toyota.
Dressed to look like the seat of the new Toyota Aygo, Rahat goes about town freaking out tollbooth operators, valets, fast food servers and even receiving a bit of unwanted attention from the police. The result is, as is usually the case with this prank, pretty darn amusing. We were kind of hoping he'd pop up and give his victims a fright, as he did in his Halloween video, but alas, that wasn't to be.

Toyota makes $100M investment to boost Indiana Highlander production

Toyota has announced that it will be making a $100 million investment in its Princeton, IN factory in a bid to increase production of its popular Highlander CUV. The move will create 300 new jobs by 2016 and increase the total number of crossovers the plant can produce by 30,000.
Toyota currently builds the Highlander, alongside the fullsize Sequoia, at Toyota Indiana's West Plant. The additional capacity, though, will be sent to the East Plant, which is currently responsible for production of the recently refreshed Sienna minivan.
"The Highlander has been a great product for our plant," Toyota Indiana President Norm Bafunno said in a statement. "Establishing Highlander as the 'bridge vehicle,' as we call it, between the East and West plants increases our ability to meet customer needs for our outstanding products. This exciting news is a true testament to the capability of our hard-working and dedicated team members."
