Very well kept Tacoma with only 91,300 miles. Driven 6 months out of the year. Cold A/C, Tires 6 months old (Hankook). Truck has a tiny rust spot in rear as pic shows. Hood was repainted 3 years ago due fading and discoloring. Looks excellent. Scratches yes but no dents. Tiny radio knob is missing. I encourage buyer to look over vehicle. I would be happy to meet locally and have you inspect it. Take your magnet, no bondo here. There are 4 vehicles in my family now since dad has passed. I have been rotating 2 vehicles every 6 months rather than register all 4 with the high cost of ins and plates. There are plenty of Pre Runners and 4WD Toyotas out there but not many base model 4 cyl with cold A/C like this. Again you are welcome to make appt to see truck. Reasonable reserve. Truck is also listed for sale locally. I reserve the right to cxl listing at any time. Email with questions. Thanks. |

Toyota's Euro Aygo spied in prototype form
Thu, 22 Aug 2013The five-door version of the next-generation Toyota Aygo, a Euro offering cloned by the Peugeot 107 and Citroën C1, has been caught out on the town wearing all black. Facelifted early last year, predictions are that the next version of the city car will be slightly lower and wider than the current car, with improved ergonomics and materials. Based on what little can be seen for now, a new intake and headlight treatment should be on the menu in front, with taillights placed higher on its backside.
A three-door version is expected, but a gasoline-hybrid model is also rumored, along with power and fuel economy improvements to the three-cylinder engine that presently puts out 67 horsepower and 69 pound-feet of torque.
We should see it next year, along with the new Citroën C1 and Peugeot 108.
Toyota found not at fault in alleged unintended acceleration crash
Fri, 11 Oct 2013Toyota has already paid out millions and billions of dollars in settlements surrounding unintended acceleration, but the first lawsuit in the matter, which headed to a California court in July, has reached a verdict. Following the 2009 death of Noriko Uno, whose 2006 Camry was hit by another car and then sped out of control before crashing into a tree, the jury found that Toyota was not at fault in the crash.
Even though the 2006 Camry (shown above) wasn't involved in any of the unintended acceleration-related recalls and it was not equipped with a brake override, Automotive News reports that the jury's verdict says there was no defect in the car and actually blames the entire incident on the driver that ran into Uno's car - to the tune of $10 million. The accident started when the other driver ran a stop sign and hit Uno's car, and the report says that medical conditions (including diabetes) caused Uno to fail to stop her Camry.
The AN article also states that this lawsuit was a bellwether case for around 85 other personal-injury and wrongful-death suits against Toyota, but there are still many impending suits across the country. Scroll down for an official statement on this particular case from Toyota.
