ADDITIONAL PARTS/OEM PARTS:
List does not include a bunch of new Toyota OEM parts that were also purchased and installed. Any parts that were broken/ugly/missing were replaced. (For example, all of the A/C and other buttons on the dash were replaced bc they looked 'yellow,' the long black plastic piece that goes at the bottom of the windshield exterior was replaced because it looked aged, etc. And all that adds up to a lot of money.) The new owner will receive all of the (extensive) documentation, receipts, invoices, etc. As well as several totes full of extra parts.

BACKGROUND:
- I've owned this car for approx 5 years and detailed the build process on Supraforums
- My goal was to build a daily driver that could also make 1100whp on E85 and more with race gas
- The parts used, as well as the engine builder (Errol @ TPS) and my tuner (Doug @ TopSpeed) are a proven combination to reach this goal
- The same setup (with same engine builder and tuner) had the previous 2JZ-GTE high horsepower record
- This car currently makes 685whp on the lowest possible boost (20psi) and with timing pulled out to keep power as low as possible
- It was built to handle 42psi and make ~1300whp
- The parts used are the best/most expensive/designed for the highest amount of power possible
- Vast majority of the parts listed were installed in 2011, so they are fairly new
- I've put fewer than 1,700 miles on it since it has been up and running with this setup and new motor/paint (July 2011)
- I purchased the car in FL and it has been in my garage in Florida up until July 2011. Since then it has been in Atlanta (never driven in snow)
- Has always been garage kept since I've owned it
- Non-smoker and non-pet owner
- New OEM floormats (in 2011)
- New leather seat covers (in 2011)
- Retains stock power steering, ABS, Ice Cold A/C

NOTES:
- Car still has the stock auto trans, but virtually everything else is done, so the new owner will be able to pick exactly what they want (built auto, TH400 or V-160) depending on their goals for the car and be done
- People with moderate to high mechanical skill levels have successfully done the V-160 swap in 8-12 hours - if you are good at working on cars, it really isn't that hard to do, or you can always pay a shop to do it
- The upside of this not having a strong trans yet, is that is has always been babied and never beat on (never drag raced or taken to a road course) bc I didn't want to blow the trans
- It has a 'salvage' title. It doesn't make any difference in Florida (in terms of getting a tag and be able to legally drive it around). I've owned, registered and legally daily driven multiple "salvage title" cars in FL. But that might differ from state to state so please conduct your own research on this matter
- Two dime sized paint chips/scratches on driver side front fender, one dime size paint chip on upper driver corner of hood
- Several small scratches on passenger side headlight
- Garmin Navigation needs the updated route/map disc if you want to use it for GPS (still works as head-unit without update)
- As is pretty common for these cars, the targa top gets loose and rattles if the car has been sitting for prolonged periods of time or if you go over agressive speed bumps. The OEM Toyota tool for tightening the targa top bolts will be included. MVP Motorsports as well as other companies can replace the targa top hardware to fix this issue because as I said, it is a very common issue
- The title was transferred from a dealership to my ex, then to my mother, then to myself so there aren't really as many different owners as appear on reports/records. It really has been mine for the past 5 years, the title transfers between us "family members" were for convenience purposes only
- I've done my best to describe the vehicle. It is of course 19 years old so you cannot reasonably expect it to be the same as a 2014 Ferrari or Lambo. However, it is in excellent condition compared to the majority of the other Supras I've seen (and I've seen many, bc I attend SEMA, tx2k13, various track events, etc)
- It is the buyer's responsibility to ask questions and/or to inspect the vehicle in person prior to making a buying decision. Because the deposit is non-refundable and sales are final with no warranty expressed or implied
- If you were to take a stock Supra to any respected Supra shop (Titan, Boost Logic, Sound Performance, Virtual Works Racing, etc) with this parts list and say you wanted the fully built engine, all the parts listed, custom paint and wheels, custom tune, custom carbon fiber and chroming, including labor, etc. The quote would truly be insane. And even if you can afford to pay over $100,000, you would be waiting for several months or maybe even over a year for it to all come together (it always takes longer than expected)
- You can check pricing on most of these parts just by viewing the company websites. If you actually do your research or are already familiar with Supras, it is obvious this price is a steal.
- Similar Supras have sold for $55-110k+ and the value isn't going down since they are no longer being made and the ones that are left are getting crashed or riced-out more and more as time goes on
- If you wanted a Supra purely for collectable reasons, to store it in a garage and stare at it, it would be wise to spend 80k on a bone stock 1998 Quicksilver TT 6SPD, but if you are going to modify it and actually drive it or race it, this is the smartest and most cost effective route
- I'm only selling this car because I am starting my next project soon and want to focus on that

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Originally was an Auto TT with 2JZ-GTE (so this is not a NA conversion)
- Fully built 3.0L 2JZ-GTE engine assembled by Errol @ Total Performance and Service (TPS)
- Custom E85 Tune by Doug @ TopSpeed Motorsports (TSM)
- FULL-RACE T6 Exhaust manifold + FULL-RACE 5" Downpipe + FULL-RACE 5" Midpipe
- GT47-88 Garrett dual ball bearing turbo with polishing housing
- Painted Toyota OEM Quicksilver in 2010 - premium paint job (windows removed, engine removed, rubber gaskets and sills replaced, etc)
- Thousands of dollars spent on Carbon Fiber - Several custom one of a kind carbon fiber pieces on this car that were made specifically for me by Aerolite (Including custom 6" 100% Real Carbon Fiber intake)
- A lot of money (thousands) spent on chroming
- AIM Digital Dash with custom carbon fiber surround
- ID2000s + Weldon 2,000hp fuel pump (largest electric pump they make) + dual feed -10AN rail + two stainless filters
- 95% of all the hoses and lines are stainless braided line with AN fittings to prevent breakage/blowing off (cost thousands of dollars just to do this)

FAQ & CONTACT INFO
- I am happy to discuss this car with SERIOUS buyers who have financing in place
- I am a private owner - not a dealership so I cannot help you to obtain financing
- If you would like to see additional pictures, please message me with your e-mail address
- As I already stated, this car has never been drag raced or road raced - so please do not ask how it does in the 1/4 mile
- Similar setups with TH400 have run 8's, and with V-160 low 9'S - but this car has not been raced yet and obviously performance is largely dependent on the driver's skill
- I work 7AM-6PM EST so if I do not reply to your questions or send pictures instantly, please be patient and I will get back to you as soon as possible
- The car is also listed for sale locally. I reserve the right to cancel this auction if someone buys it locally first

2015 24 Hours of Le Mans live race report

Sat, Jun 13 2015

Check back regularly for more race updates every few hours. No, you don't need to stay up for the entire 24 Hours of Le Mans, but if you want to catch any of the action, Autoblog friend Reilly Brennan has a handy guide. And to keep you up to speed on the latest race events, we'll be posting live from Le Mans with regular race reports.Hour 1: Five laps in, Audi breaks up the three Porsches at the front, with the #19 919 Hybrid, driven by Nico Hulkenburg, passed by all three R18s. Hulkenburg eventually took back fifth position only to fall back again after the first pit stop. Meanwhile, clutch trouble kept the #23 Nissan GTR-LM in the pits until 15 minutes into the race. The other two Nissans were forced to start at the back of the grid after failing to the meet the 110 percent qualifying speed regulation. At the end of the first hour, just 7.5 seconds separated the first six cars. Then the factory team #92 Porsche GTE car caught fire, with the the #13 Rebellion P1 car taking frontal damage in the ensuing carnage. With the safety car out, the field is once again bunched up.Hour 2: The slugfest between Audi and Porsche continues, with neither side backing off. Halfway through the second hour the #7 R18 passes both leading Porsches for the top position. After another round of pits stops Porsche regains the lead until lap 30, when the Audi overtake once again and quickly pulls out a three-second gap. Nico Hulkenburg passes the other two Audis to join his Porsche teammates. At the beginning of the third hour it's Audi #7, Porsche #17, #18, and #19, followed by Audi #8 and #9. 33 seconds separates this group, with Toyota a minute back from the front car.Hour 3: On track the action refuses to stop. Although it's early, Audi is looking strong with the overall lead in the #7. What's more is that the Audis run four stints per set of tires, while the Porsche cars have to change rubber every third stop. But after a quick refueling, the lead R18 gets a tire puncture and comes back in 3 laps later, allowing Porsche to take over the top two spots. Then as the hour closes out a yellow flag causes traffic to bunch up and the #8 Audi gets stuck with nowhere to slow down. Driver Loic Duval dives for the side of the road but hits the guard rail and careens across the track, damaging the front and rear bodywork. The rest of the car is still intact, though, and once in the pits Audi replaces the entire front and rear of that in only three minutes.

Audi outlasts rivals to win 13th Le Mans title

Sun, 15 Jun 2014

As is so often the case, the 2014 Le Mans was a war of attrition, and Audi managed to prevail once again after all 24 hours had been recorded in the history books, with its Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro claiming first and second places, followed by Toyota in third. Drivers Marcel Fassler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer inherited the lead in their No. 2 Audi after the No. 7 Toyota, driven by pole-sitter Kazuki Nakajima, was forced to retire with electrical problems in the 15th hour.
The No. 2 Audi led the race until it was forced to the pits to replace a turbocharger in the 17th hour, allowing the No. 1 Audi, driven by Lucas di Grassi, Marc Gene (who was a last-minute replacement for Loic Duval, who crashed hard during practice) and defending champion Tom Kristensen, led the race until the 21st hour, when it too had to pit with turbocharger issues. This gave the No. 20 Porsche of Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley, and Mark Webber the lead until it was forced off the track with gearbox problems, eventually finishing in 38th position.
In LMP2, the Jota Sport Zytek Z11SN-Nissan driven by Simon Dolan, Harry Tincknell and Oliver Turvey claimed victory, the first five LMP2 finishers all powered by Nissan. Down a level in GTE-Pro, No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 driven by Gianmaria Bruni, Toni Vilander and Giancarlo Fisichella finished one lap ahead of the leading Corvette Racing C7.R. And finally, the No. 95 Aston Martin Racing Vantage GTE driven by Kristian Poulsen, David HeinemeierHansson and Nicki Thiim won the GTE-Am race two laps ahead of a Proton Porsche 911 GT3 RSR.

Watch a Camry driver in full road rage

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

There are vehicles that, fair or not, will forever be associated with jerky drivers. But as this very recent footage from an in-car camera shows, even the most mundane of sedans can be piloted by an ass.
In this video, the driver of one very beige Toyota Camry is driving like a person choked with rage. Though we don't see which (if any) actions by our camera car might have lead up to the tirade, we do see the Camry driver swerving from lane to lane, in multiple attempts to get in front of and brake check the couple in the recording.
According to the text associated with the YouTube video, the offending incident took place last week, on a section of I-880 near Fremont, CA. The uploader has gone so far as to include the date, time and license plate number of the Camry driver, in hopes, we guess, that some kind of legal action can be taken against him. Take a closer look for yourself in the video below.
