1997 Toyota Supra TT 6 speed Targa top, I bought the car in Feb 2010 with around 90,000 miles.  I have driven the car on and off and now have 93,050 miles on it.  I don't drive the car much and I hate to let it sit.  I have Installed a new flywheel, clutch and bearing from Toyota about 1,000 miles ago. Timing belt was done at 84,275.  Car is mostly stock other then, slotted and cross drilled rotors, HKS filter, HKS Twin Power High Performance Ignition system, Greddy PE exhaust, Greddy boost controller, Greddy boost gauge, turbo timer, Fuel cut defender. I have a set of black powder coated wheels on the car now but also have the stock 17 Polished wheel and caps that will go with the car.  The caps have scratches and the wheels need to be re-polished and cleared.

I don't know the history of the car other then what autocheck says.  I bought the car to fix up and never got that far.  I do know its had a repaint at some time and it needs another one.  It does have a few dings and scratches and paint chips (see pictures).  It drives great but the transmission has and hard up shift, down shifting is fine hard to explain you can contact me for more info(better to explain on phone then type).  Its been this way since I got the car in 2010 and has not got worse.  Interior is stock other then the boost gauge were the clock was.  Seats have normal wear, carpet has wear, and the door panels show wear and scraps. The stock radio has been replaced with a kenwood head unit, and speakers two amps and sub box behind seat.  See pictures. The engine will smoke at start up if its been sitting for a long time, from what I know its the oil bleeding past the valve stems rubber.

This is a car that has been driven 93,050 miles not a show car.  I have tried to give all the bad and good but please ask if you have any questions, just ask.

The car is under my dealership, there is no buyer fees, but you must pay TN tax's if your local and must pay your sales tax out of state. Car is as is where is.  You may come see the car any time Mon-Fri before the auction is up.  This car will not be for joy riders or tire kickers so don't waste my time.  Do not ask for the reserve I will not disclose.  Thanks you and good luck!

Toyota GT86, Scion FR-S sales disappointing worldwide?

Fri, 21 Feb 2014

Okay, folks - it appears we've got a problem. The Toyota GT86, Europe's counterpart to our own beloved Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S coupes, is apparently not selling too well. This, according to Toyota's European Vice President of Research and Development, Gerald Killman, is what's limiting plans for additional variants of the rear-drive coupe.
"A faster version of that car would be at the top of most people's wish lists, but like the cabriolet, it is hard to justify a business case to push either model into production based on the current sales," Killman told AutoExpress. "Personally, I think that engine could use a little bit more," he added.
More troubling is that slow sales aren't limited to the Euro-spec car, with Killman claiming that the GT86 have been missing sales targets in major markets around the globe. It may not be that the US is one of those major markets, though. Scion's Vice President, Doug Murtha, tells Autoblog that his brand is happy with the sales of its version of the GT86, the FR-S. 18,000 units were sold last year, which Murtha says is "generally in line with original expectations for the car."
