1994 Toyota Supra original turbo 6-speed targa top with only 57,631 miles. Fully built at Saad Racing in Scottsdale AZ. Tuned by Jason Siebels the owner of Pro-EFI. This car is the poster child for Pro-EFI Supra's as can be seen below in the Pro-EFI traction control video. Fully built 3.0 2JZ-GTE with Precision 67-66 Turbocharger. True Flex-Fuel Vehicle can run on 91 Octane or ANY mix of E85 with 5 boost settings ranging from 11-33 PSI setting 1: 510 rwhp, setting 3: 721 rwhp, and setting 5: 877 rwhp. I just recently averaged 23 miles  per gallon on a trip back up to Saad Racing to get the car fully inspected so any questions call Jim or Saad at (480) 264-2030. Custom 6-Point Roll Cage that still allows Targa Top to fit perfectly. 150 shot direct port nitrous set up with two stages where it will spray up to 20 pounds of boost then automatically stop and the wide open mode that keeps going until you let off the gas. I have personally not found the need to use either Nitrous setting. On the 2-stepping video this shows what the launch control looks like when in use. For the 1/4 mile video of 10.7 this is with the old GT40 Turbo when it made less hp. I have never raced the car but Saad Personally guarantees me that it will run a 9.5 with ET Streets. I just used it as a show car, and street brawler. This car could easily be made to produce more HP but I think it would be silly because it comes into full boost before 4k RPM which is really early spool time if you know anything about High HP Supra's It has big HP without the big turbo lag that typically goes along with these cars which makes it a perfect street car especially with the 6-speed and the traction control that does not kill power just simply makes it controllable. The interior has been completely re-done it was originally a tan interior car that now has been converted to all black, dyna-matted from front fire wall to the back and all custom carpet installed to fit around the roll cage. I have redone the brakes to brand new slotted and drilled rotors, restored back to original Calipers and Ceramic brakes. I have had this car for about a year and a half and the only reason I'm even considering selling is because I am about to be deployed again. This car was Saad's personal car for 13 years before I purchased it from him. I can not do this car justice over the internet it is a must see in person, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Just fly into the El Paso Airport and I'll come pick you up so you can check it out for yourself. I just had a compression test done before listing just to make sure everything is as perfect as I suspect and every cylinder came in within 5 psi which is as perfect as it gets. I do not have to sell so no ridiculous offers and I challenge anyone to find a cleaner Supra this tastefully modified for this price. I know there are plenty of things I left off such as TRD Tach, 98 tail lights, Line Lock, Custom Painted Marble Finish over all plastic pieces, Custom inconspicuous shift light, Evolution SSR Wheels with zero defects, removable side bar, near new Michelin PS2's etc. so just feel free to call myself or Saad Racing with any specific questions.

Toyota's Texas move could boost state's economy by $7.2B in 10 years

Thu, 15 May 2014

They say everything is bigger in Texas, and apparently that includes the Toyota's effect on the economy. The giant Japanese automaker's new headquarters in Plano, TX, will add an estimated $7.2 billion to the state over the next 10 years, according to a new study commissioned by the city and cited by Bloomberg.
The benefits appear to be an absolute steal compared to the direct incentives that Plano and the state are giving Toyota. The report finds that by the time the automaker's campus is complete in 2018, it could have 3,650 full-time workers there at an average salary of $104,000. The city has prepared $6.75 million in grants, plus property tax discounts, according to Bloomberg. In addition to that, the state is offering the business $40 million in incentives from its Texas Enterprise Fund. This is still a fraction of what Toyota is estimated to bring in.
Toyota announced in April that it would move its US operations to Plano after being headquartered in California since 1957. The move affects thousands of employees from the sales and engineering divisions. The first workers will arrive there this fall, but Toyota will eventually have a whole campus in Plano by late 2017. The move is expected to save it huge amounts in taxation and offer employees a lower cost of living. Toyota North America CEO Jim Lentz also says that the Texas location puts the headquarters closer to more of the business' factories in the south. Texas certainly appears to be showing it some southern hospitality.

NHTSA releases updated Takata airbag recalled cars list, but it still has errors

Wed, 22 Oct 2014

Unfortunately, the government's list still contains errors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued an updated list of vehicle models that it's urging owners to repair under the mushrooming Takata airbag inflator recall. The latest version adds vehicles from new automakers like Subaru and Ford that are missing from the original announcement, and it also removes erroneous entries from General Motors, leaving only the 2005 Saab 9-2X (a reskinned Subaru WRX), and the 2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe, a joint project with Toyota.

2017 Toyota 86: The car so nice it's been rebadged twice

Wed, Feb 3 2016

When the dust settles and the Scion brand is no more, the car we currently know as the Scion FR-S will be rebadged. Again. If you remember the excitement that surrounded the Toyobaru/Subota rear-drive sports coupes' introduction, you'll recall that Scion's Subaru BRZ twin landed in here as the FR-S. That car, along with the new iA and iM, will get a stay of execution next year when the brand bids adieu. We know it will wear a Toyota badge in dealers from then on, and there's a good chance it will get the 86 badge European models wear. Toyota's version of the car goes by several different names depending on the market. It's only a Scion in North America, while it's sold as the Toyota 86 (in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and South Africa), Toyota GT86 (in Europe and New Zealand again), and Toyota FT86 (in Nicaragua and Jamaica). The 86 part of the name is a nod to the rear-drive AE86 Corollas of the 1980s. That's a history lesson Toyota likely won't have to teach its core demographic. Then again, this car's core demographic probably already bought one. There's also a possibility that this car will get yet another name combination: Toyota FR-S. For the sake of simplicity, let's hope not. View 7 Photos So yes, the rebadged 86 will be re-rebadged back to a Toyota. Functionally this means almost nothing. Buyers who were ordering badge-swap kits from overseas will save some money. Some enthusiast forums might need to change their names. And people visiting from Japan or Europe will feel a little more at home when they see a rear-drive Toyota sports car on the street. Meanwhile, FR-S – a name that may or may not have stood for "front-engine, rear-drive, sport" – will be quickly forgotten. Related Video: Scion Toyota confirmed toyota 86
