Up for sale is my Premier Edition Factory 1993.5 Twin Turbo 6 speed supra.  It's white with black leather and has the removable targa top.   It's also a wingless car from the factory.  The supra has just over 76,000 miles and the condition is right on par for a car with this low of mileage.  This is a 2 owner supra and has been in Arizona and California it's entire life so there is no rust underneath.  Because it is a 20 year old car I recently spent about $3000 in general maintenance getting it ready for sale so there would be no issues for the new owner.  Here is a list of the maintenance performed along with the performance modifications done in the last 3 months:

OEM Timing belt replacement
OEM valve stem seal replacement
OEM front main seal
OEM rear main seal
OEM cam seals
OEM valve cover gaskets
OEM breather hoses and pcv
OEM upper and lower radiator hoses
OEM waterpump and thermostat
OEM radiator
NGK 6282 spark plugs
Royal Purple Synchromax in getrag transmission
Royal Purple Max Gear 75-90 in differential
Mobil 1 10w30 with Toyota D3 oil filter
Toyota Red coolant flush and fill

Modifications:

Greddy 3 row Front Mount Intercooler
Blitz Intake
Stainless 3 inch downpipe
TRD Gen II Catback exhaust
ACT stage 2 clutch
EGR block off plates
B&M short shifter
APEX boost gauge
Fuel dampner bypass
Eibach Lowering springs
KINESIS K28 18 inch 3 piece wheels with brand new Michelin Pilot sports
Wings West front lip
Stillen Sideskirts

All Maintenance is up to date and the supra drives great with no issues.  No smoke, no leaks, no vibrations and car drives straight.  The factory stock turbos pull very strong and are making about 400 rwhp at 18 pounds of boost.  Everything works like a factory supra and still retains the cruise control.  All of the power options work great with no issues along with the A/C and heat.

The Interior is in great shape especially for being the original 20 year old leather.  There are no tears in any of the seats and the drivers bolster is the only seat showing some fade from getting in and out of the car.  The supra has been a non smokers car all it's life and has that nice leather smell when you get in.  The dash and door panels are in excellent shape with very little signs of wear.  All of the original Spare tire, jack, tools are in place in the rear hatch of the car.

The paint is probably the best part of this car.  The entire car was repainted 3 years ago the original factory white because the Arizona heat had oxidized the clear coat.  This car has never been in an accident and retains all of the original body panels.  100 percent clean carfax and clean title.   I would rate the paint to as close to perfect as you can.  Every molding and window was pulled on the car during paint so there are no tape lines or fade marks.  The paint is as smooth as can be with no orange peel.   Even being 3 year old paint there is only 3 small pen head size chips on the entire car and one small ding on the hatch that can be taken out with paintless dent repair.  The lower lip has a few small scrapes because it's lowered but they can't be seen unless you are underneath the car.

This car is definately a great example of how a well maintained supra should be.   I wouldn't hestitate to jump in this supra and drive across the US on a road trip.  Everything works as is should and is a very solid car.  If you are looking for a clean supra that holds its value better than any other sports car out there then don't miss out on this one.  I am willing to perform a compression test or any other inspection in front of serious buyers to show the condition is as stated.  Please don't hesitate to call me if you have any other questions, this supra will not disappoint.  Thanks, Jesse 435-901-4599

Cars we're thankful we drove in 2019

Thu, Nov 28 2019

We drove a lot of cars in 2019, and there's still a month to go. We drove them in our home office in Michigan, at our remote offices in Seattle, Portland, Ore., and Columbus, Ohio, and throughout the globe on myriad press launches. We could count them, but hey, that seems boastful.  Instead, we want to be thankful. Not only for the opportunity to do this wonderful task some might describe as a "job," but for the new, shiny cars that brighten our days (and most hopefully yours). We asked our fellow editors which car they were most thankful to drive in 2019 ... here are our answers. 2019 Hyundai Veloster N Performance Senior Editor Alex Kierstein Every once in a while a car comes along that changes the narrative on a company or its segment, and everyone scrambles to experience it for themselves. This year, for me, that car’s the Veloster N Performance, perhaps the most transformative car the companyÂ’s ever built. Everyone whoÂ’s driven it, here and elsewhere, says it captures all those intangibles that make great driving hatchbacks great. And IÂ’m thankful that I got a go in it before all of them left the fleet, because it does. It upends the segment long dominated by the GTI, a car that nails its brief. The N is rowdy and loud, sure, but it also has some of the most deftly tuned suspension IÂ’ve come across in a front driver. My advice: if youÂ’re in the market for something fun and unique, go test drive a Veloster N. I think youÂ’ll be thankful you did. 2019 Hyundai Veloster N View 47 Photos 2019 Audi E-Tron Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder IÂ’m pleased that I got to drive the Audi E-Tron. ThatÂ’s high praise for a year in which I also drove the stellar Jaguar I-Pace. The E-Tron, while not as sporty as the Jaguar, is excellently executed, and feels like a more refined, polished offering. ItÂ’s quick, whisper-quiet, comfortable, stylish inside and out, and incredibly sturdy. Some may lament that it doesnÂ’t do much to stand out from ICE vehicles, but I donÂ’t think it needs to. What it does need to do is win over the electro-skeptical, and I think Audi put its best foot forward with a crossover that can do just that, and more. So, yeah, not only am I thankful that I got to drive it, IÂ’m glad that itÂ’s compelling enough that itÂ’ll hopefully make potential customers feel the same. 2020 Audi E-Tron View 13 Photos 2013 Peugeot 508 West Coast Editor James Riswick My choice totally sucks.

MotorWeek remembers retro icons, Supra and NSX

Thu, 16 Oct 2014

It's easy to poke a joke here and there about John Davis, the long-time host of MotorWeek. His voice is so monotonous that, from time to time, if you closed your eyes, you may think it's generated via a computer. But you have to give him and the rest of the show a lot of credit. The program has been on the air for decades, giving people direct, straight-down-the middle automotive reviews.
MotorWeek's massive back catalog of reviews are slowly making their way onto YouTube, and they provide a fascinating chance to look back on how performance cars rank against their contemporaries from back in the day. Two recent additions include the show's old looks at the 1986 Toyota Supra, the dawn of the third-generation model, and the now-iconic 1991 Acura NSX.
Both reviews are interesting in their own way. These days you hear nary a negative word about the original NSX, but MotorWeek isn't afraid to point out a few flaws. And the Supra really shows the progress of suspension tuning in the intervening decades because it has some serious body roll in the corners. Scroll down to check out both videos and get a blast from the automotive past.

Toyota recalling 615k Sienna models over rollaway risk

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

Toyota has announced a recall affecting approximately 615,000 Sienna minivans due to a possible rollaway risk. All of the vehicles in question are from the 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009 model years.
In an official statement, the automaker states that the problem stems from the vehicle's shift lever assembly. "Because of the potential for damage to the shift lock solenoid installed in involved vehicles, there is a possibility that the shift lever could be moved out of the 'P' position without the driver depressing the brake pedal," Toyota said. Because of this fault, the affected Sienna models could roll away without warning, increasing the risk for a crash.
Owners will be notified via first class mail, and the affected Sienna models can be taken to Toyota dealerships to have the shift lock solenoid replaced with a new one. Have a look below for the automaker's official release.
