1992 Toyota Supra Turbo Hatchback 2-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
New Port Richey, Florida, United States
IMMACULATE!! car is amazing. this is the one you want supra lovers. rare black interior is flawless. the leather is original and never recovered. dash is flawless without damage or warping. door panels and carpet are perfect. the only interior flaw is the driver seat has 2
small slist in the bottom perforation.it is isolated to only one of the
panels. this means that an upholstery shop need only replace one of the
panels and not the entire bottom. this cost is less than $100. I can
even have it done for you if you like.car has no engine modification. 3" downpipe and exhaust. hks intake. car was repainted a few years ago. was completely disassembled of moldings and handles before painting. no tape lines. i replaced factory head bolts with arp bolts and torqued to arp specs. head was not removed and head gasket is not blown nor has it ever been, carfax supports miles to be accurate. car has no rust whatsoever. brakes and rotors have been upgraded.factory floormats. windows were never tinted until this year so defrost works. car is unmolested and original. always garaged. car can be driven across country tomorrow. i have had four of these cars and this is the one i've always wanted. i've had the car for 2 years now. i have recently gotten engaged and priorities have changed. it will come with no warranty. a 250 non refundable deposit via paypal is due at close of auction. payment in full is due within 3 days of auction close. i will assist in shipping. inspections are welcome. the car has only one scratch on the rear bumper from the window tinters cart rubbing the car. reserve is set low BUT WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED!! i have seen cars sell for thousands more than this one right here on this auction. the car also has a keyless entry and alarm installed. a good functional one that simply locks the doors and honks the horn. it has a pioneer stereo with bluetooth. this is the car ive always wanted and planned on keeping. it has never been hacked on or altered.

BMW-Toyota joint sports car project is on like Donkey Kong
Mon, 30 Dec 2013It's official - there will be a jointly developed sports car from BMW and Toyota. While the two auto giants signed a Memorandum of Understanding that pledged to pursue "joint development of architecture and components for a future sports vehicle" back in June of 2012, in the interim, it has remained unclear how those plans had been progressing. BMW has finally officially confirmed that the German and Japanese manufacturers will be codeveloping a pair of sports cars in addition to pursuing other disciplines including fuel cell systems and lightweight technologies.
"We have agreed on a joint architecture for a sports car. What is important is that there will be two different vehicles that are authentic to the two brands," BMW Development Chief Herbert Diess told Germany's Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Reuters is reporting. This is a very, very big step for both brands, but now the speculation can officially begin as to what the products of this agreement will look like.
There's ample reason to believe that the BMW-Toyota tie up will result in a Supra successor based on comments made by the chief engineer of the GT86/FR-S program, Tatsuya Tada, back in August. Follow that with a rumor from earlier this month that Toyota could debut a Supra concept car at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show later this month, and we could be seeing the fruits of this partnership sooner rather than later.
Hydrogen stations that don't work putting a dent in H2 lifestyle
Fri, Jul 24 2015Hydrogen is the most plentiful element in the universe, but it's not abundant enough for some hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle drivers. Southern California lessees of models such as the Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell SUV are taking to Facebook to voice their complaints about out-of-order fuel cell stations, Green Car Reports says. In many cases, the lack of hydrogen supply has made the cars effectively undriveable. For Tucson Fuel Cell owners, the hydrogen is supposed to be free and unlimited, but Hyundai doesn't manage the stations. One Orange County lessee of a Tucson fuel-cell vehicle hasn't driven the car for over a month because the trio of nearby stations are out of commission. Additionally, some of the stations that do work can only provide about a half-tank worth of hydrogen, once again putting a crimp the driving range of the hydrogen car. California is home to 10 of the dozen public hydrogen refueling stations in the country (there's one each in Connecticut and South Carolina), according to US Department of Energy figures. These sorts of challenges can't help Hyundai's hydrogen efforts. Last month, it was reported that Hyundai has sold fewer than 300 fuel cell vehicles worldwide during the past three years, including about 70 through the first five months of this year. The South Korea-based automaker has said it wants to sell 1,000 fuel-cell vehicles globally by the end of 2015. Fuel-cell drivers and advocates alike are hoping that Toyota will change the game when its Mirai hydrogen vehicles start hitting California roads later this year. Toyota confirmed in May that Mirai US sales would start in October in eight California dealerships. The Northeast is on tap for 2016. Related Video:
