This is a 1984 Toyota Supra. The car came from California and was garage kept since new. It has had the same owner since new until 2 months ago. It was owned by an elderly gentleman in Sunnyvale California. The car runs and drives like new. The motor runs smooth and has no overheating issues. The car tracks straight at highway speeds and the brakes work exceptionally well. The pictures tell the condition. The paint is original. There is no rust on the car. The AC blows cold. The car has no issues except the passenger power mirror doesn't work and the radio works intermittently. It has leather seats, automatic transmission and a sunroof. The original window sticker has a price of $18013.00. These cars are very hard to find in this condition. There are very few aftermarket parts available for this car so trying to restoring one is next to impossible. There may be less expensive cars out there but due to the lack of parts, the condition that car is in will be the best it will ever be. This car could be stored in a collection or driven daily with no problems. The value is sure to rise. Look at what the early Datsun 240z's have done over the past few years. This is surely to be one of the rare collectible cars from the 80's. For more info call Ray Stasta at (713) 305-7382.

Japan considering offering free hydrogen cars because $30k incentives apparently not enough
Wed, Aug 6 2014There's no such thing as a free lunch. A free hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, though? It may become a possibility in Japan, says Automotive News. We know the Japanese government is being plenty supportive of hydrogen vehicles since it will provide about $20,000 worth of incentives to prospective customers of the $69,000 vehicle. And with local governments like Toyota City's Aichi prefecture supplying another $10,000, out of pocket costs could reach less than $40,000 for the Toyota hydrogen car. We don't know for sure that the 'free' H2 car will happen, but with Toyota starting sales of its first production FCV next spring (potentially named Mirai), it could happen. That would also spell good news for Honda, which will follow up Toyota's effort for its own hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle. The case for the free car is still pretty tenuous. Automotive News, citing the Nihon Keizai business publication, reports that the Japanese government has thrown around the idea of subsidizing the vehicles outright to early adopters just to gain some momentum for this kind of zero-emissions vehicles. Heck, the government would even throw in free fuel for good measure. We'll see about that. To see some of the official hydrogen excitement, click here for a video of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe taking a Toyota fuel cell vehicle for a brisk test drive. Fuel cells will flop outside Japan, says VW
Fri, 12 Sep 2014
"It may fly within Japan, but not globally," VW's Shoji said.
It's long been battered into our beleaguered auto writer brains that the ultimate future source of motivation for tomorrow's cars and trucks is not gasoline, diesel, electricity, natural gas, propane or solar power - it's the hydrogen fuel cell. It's been the Next Big Thing since the start of Next Big Things.
2014 Toyota Corolla coming Thursday, now with LED headlamps
Tue, 04 Jun 2013Here's what we know about the redesigned 2014 Toyota Corolla: It will have "aggressive new styling" with "available seventeen-inch alloy wheels" an "available touch screen audio" system and "available LED headlights."
We know all of this because Toyota has seen fit to release a small assortment of teaser images of the 2014 Corolla, with those descriptions attached. The latest to hit the web shows LED lighting clusters, which, to Toyota's credit, don't appear to merely mimic designs already seen in the automotive world.
We should point out that the headlights do share a link to the units seen on the Furia Concept that was supposed to foreshadow the next Corolla, though the most interesting bits - namely the honeycomb inner pattern - have been chucked while the somewhat trapezoidal main units remain intact.
