2001 Toyota Sienna Xle, Cruise, Rear Air, Sunroof, Cd, No Reserve!! L@@k! on 2040-cars
Colby, Kansas, United States
You are looking at a 2001 Toyota Sienna that has served a growing family very well. It has the same Toyota 3.0 liter V6 engine as in the Toyota Avalon and in the V6 Camry. In the last 2 weeks I've had the brakes serviced and the engine tuned up. There are 2400 miles before its next oil change is due. One of the tires is brand new, and the other three have about 10000 miles of wear left on them.
The bodywork has minor dings and scuffs, as can be expected with a 2001, and the interior has some minor stains on the floor mats. The glass is in good condition with a few small pits, and I haven't been able to find any rust. This car has averaged 17 mpg in town and 24 mpg on the highway, making about 21 mpg combined driving. If we're driving in calm winds, we've gotten up to 27 mpg on the highway. The air conditioner blows cold and the cruise control, sunroof, front power windows, locks and mirrors all work as they should. The rear windows for venting in the back do not work. The sound system sounds great and it plays CDs or cassette tapes. We hope it will serve its new family well, and it would work great as a safe school car or for a small family. This is NO RESERVE auction, so here is a great opportunity to get a good van for a low price! Kelley Blue Book lists this van's value at $4213 in its current condition, but these vans have been selling on eBay for lower prices. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions about the van's condition. Good luck and happy bidding! |

Question of the Day: Ever consider driving a minivan?
Thu, May 12 2016Since I'm supposed to know something about cars, it happens all the time: friends and relatives ask me advice about what kind of vehicle they should get. Very often, the only type of vehicle that can check every item on their wish list (e.g., hauls lots of people and stuff, gets good fuel economy, has great crash-test ratings, can take four Great Danes camping, and so on) is a modern minivan... and, of course, nobody wants to hear this. I'm not a minivan person, they will wail, and so they end up with a cramped, fuel-swilling SUV or a not-so-space-efficient minivan-in-disguise CUV. So, is it worth becoming one of those minivan people in order to get the incredible usefulness of these masterpieces of vehicle engineering, or do you hold your head high and drive something that doesn't quite meet your needs? Do you guys like trucks?
Wed, Jan 17 2018Do you guys like trucks? If the answer is yes, boy do we have the show for you! The 2018 North American International Auto Show is lousy with 'em. Yeah, we saw the new Ram 1500, Chevy Silverado and Ford Ranger, but that's just scratching the surface. There are big trucks, little trucks, clean trucks, dirty trucks, old trucks, new trucks, red trucks, blue trucks. It's like a Dr. Seuss book. Anyway, we made a little video for you truck nuts (see what I did there?). Check it out above, and if you're looking for more serious coverage of the Detroit Auto Show, we've got it, along with a ton of images and other videos from the show floor. Enjoy! Experience the New York Auto Show by drone
Fri, Apr 10 2015The Autoblog team recently returned from wildly running around the Javits Center to cover all the news and debuts at the New York Auto Show. Sometimes, it's nice to take a more serene look at the exhibition floor, though, and the event's organizers are providing that exact opportunity by flying a drone through the hall. Combined with the down-tempo music, this clip feels like a form of automotive meditation. If you're going to miss the show in the Big Apple, the drone also provides a good overview at the exhibition floor, especially at the stands from Lexus, Buick, Dodge, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and BMW. Plus, it's a fun way to see some vehicles from a completely different angle than they ever appear on the road.
