The seats are in brand new condition and they are fully powered. This Rav4 just turned 36k miles and it runs and drives fantastically. This is a really nice low mile car and no doubt the nicest Rav4 on eBay. You will not find another one like this anywhere.
This vehicle was a ONE OWNER vehicle and it was owned by a very meticulous individual. The vehicle also appears to be all original with no paint or bodywork ever done to this vehicle. The vehicle has a clean autocheck report with an above average rating! This vehicle was very well taken cared of and it shows. This vehicle needs nothing but a new caring owner and a new home. The previous owner never smoked in this car and it was always meticulously maintained.
This Rav4 is loaded up with all the options. It has the powerful 3.5 V6 engine, 4x4 package, power seats, limited package, fog lamps, CD player with MP3 capabilities, power windows, power locks, remote keyless entry, cruise control, tranction control, power mirrors, alloy wheels, luggage rack, fold-down rear seats, upgraded sound system, and much more.

I have the unused full-size spare tire, unused first aid kit, and the complete tool kit for the vehicle. I have everything for this car that it came with from the factory. Its just unbelievable.
This vehicle was very well cared for and it shows. The maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is reliable and runs like a dream. The car has a matching set Yokohama tires that has a good amount of tread left. We have driven this vehicle 500 miles and it seems to be running and driving 100%. You can literally jump in this vehicle and drive it 2,000 miles back home without any problems. The motor and transmission fluids are all very clean and the vehicle has good brakes, good rotors, and new windshield wiper blades. The vehicle is ready to go now without any issues. The car steers arrow straight whithout you even having to hold the steering wheel (see my video) and the ride is tight and responsive. I have posted a video of the cars features and I have posted over 150 photos of the vehicle so you get an idea of what you are buying.
The exterior of the vehicle is super clean. The body panels are all perfect and the paintwork is all original and in perfect shape. The paint is glossy and the vehicle looks like its only a couple of years old. You can see your reflection in the paint of this vehicle. The exterior is in above average condition and super mint. There is no real flaws to point out on the exterior at all, just a small ding or two here or there. Nothing major at all.
The interior of the vehicle is like brand new. The seats are in pristine condition and the fabric is supple and clean. The dash and door panels are also in perfect condition and clean.  All the trimmings and other interior trims are in perfect condition with no cracks or delamination. The interior is in fantastic condition in my opinion. The interior was just completly detailed recently!

Toyota says president, chairman of scandal-hit Daihatsu unit to step down

Tue, Feb 13 2024

TOKYO — Toyota Motor Corp said on Tuesday both the president and chairman of Daihatsu Motor will step down almost a year after the small-car unit said it had rigged collision safety-tests. The departures are among the most drastic changes Daihatsu has made so far, as Toyota seeks to return the brand to its roots as one of Japan's most iconic compact car makers. Toyota faces a potential hit to its reputation from the safety certification lapses at Daihatsu, as well as separate governance issues at truck maker Hino Motors and affiliate Toyota Industries. The scandals at the three companies triggered a rare apology of Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda last month. In a statement, the world's top-selling automaker said its chief executive officer for the Latin America and Caribbean region, Masahiro Inoue, will replace Soichiro Okudaira as Daihatsu's president effective March 1. Daihatsu's chairman, Sunao Matsubayashi, will also step down and will not be replaced, Toyota added. The outgoing Okudaira had worked at Toyota for nearly four decades before becoming president of Daihatsu in 2017, a year after it became a wholly owned Toyota subsidiary. Toyota Chief Executive Koji Sato told reporters, however, that the organizational change at Daihatsu was not carried out as a punishment for the outgoing executives. In volume terms, Daihatsu accounted for 7% of Toyota's total group sales of 11.2 million vehicles in 2023, including those of the luxury Lexus brand and Hino Motors. Given the misconduct over the safety test certification applications, Daihatsu also will be removed from a commercial vehicle partnership known as the Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies (CJPT), the automaker said in a separate statement. The partnership was established in April 2021 by Toyota, Hino and Isuzu Motors to facilitate technology development for commercial vehicles. Suzuki Motor and Daihatsu joined in July the same year. Daihatsu's 10% equity stake in the partnership will be transferred to Toyota, the statement said. Toyota offered $146.5 million to build Lexus ES in Kentucky

Thu, 18 Apr 2013

Toyota posted a media advisory yesterday saying that Akio Toyoda, president of Toyota, and Jim Lentz, CEO of Toyota North America, would be making a production announcement tomorrow in New York City, and Automotive News reports that the automaker will be announcing a plan to domestically produce the Lexus ES. According to the report, numerous plants are competing to build the ES in North America, and the State of Kentucky has offered the automaker up to $146.5 million to build the luxury sedan at the Georgetown, KY assembly plant.
If Georgetown gets the ES, which has been built in Japan since its debut in 1989, it would be built alongside the Toyota Camry, which is somewhat ironic since in our review of the 2013 Lexus ES350, we wrote that this ES finally says "goodbye to its Camry roots." In order to get the whole amount offered, the article states that Toyota would have to invest $531.2 million and hire 570 full-time workers at the plant, which doesn't sound all that unreasonable since the plant would require an additional 50,000 units of annual production, not to mention the fact that the Georgetown facility is already at its capacity for building the Camry.

24 Hours of Le Mans live update part two

Sun, Jun 19 2016

We tasked surfing journalist Rory Parker to watch this year's live stream of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. What follows is an experiment to experience the world's greatest endurance race from the perspective of a motorsports novice. Parker lives in Hawaii and can hold his breath longer than he can go without swearing. For Part One, click here. Or you can skip ahead to Part Three here. I write about surfing for a living. If you can call it a living. Basically means I spend my days fucking around and my wife pays for everything. Because she's got a real job that pays well. Brings home the bacon. Very progressive arrangement. Super twenty first century. I run a surf website, beachgrit.com, with two other guys. It's a strange gig. More or less uncensored. Kind of popular. Very good at alienating advertisers. My behavior has cost us a few bucks. I'm terrible at self-censorship. Know there's a line out there, no idea where it lies. I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. For contests I do long rambling write ups. They rarely make much sense. Mainly just talk about my life, whatever random thoughts pop into my head. "Can you do something similar for Le Mans?" "Sure, but I know absolutely fuck-all about racing." "That's okay. Just write what you want." "Will do. But you're gonna need to edit my stuff. Probably censor it heavily." So here I am. I spent the last week trying to learn all I can about the sport of endurance racing. But there's only so much you can jam in your head. And I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. While I rambled things were happening. Tracy Krohn spun into the gravel on the Forza chicane. #89 is out of the race after an accident I missed. Pegasus racing hit the wall on the Porsche curves. Bashed up front end, in the garage getting fixed. Toyota and Porsche are swapping back and forth in the front three. Ford back in the lead in GTE Pro. #91 Porsche took a stone through the radiator, down two laps. Not good. The wife and I are one of those weird childless couples that spend way too much time caring for the needs of their pet. French bulldog, Mr Eugene Victor Debs. Great little guy. Spent the last four years training him to be obedient and friendly. Nice thing about dogs, when you're sick of dealing with them you can just lock 'em in another room for a few hours. You don't need to worry about paying for college.
