You are looking at a 2005 Toyota Prius Gas / Electric Hybrid. We are selling this "as-is, where-is." It has a hybrid gasoline and electric engine with a 1.5L 1496cc 4-cylinder engine paired with a 1540 kwh/rpm electric motor. This setup routinely results in the car getting over 50MPG. The gasoline engine and braking system charge the battery and everything is displayed on the interactive dash screen. The car is very quiet and runs very well. We have had no problems with it. When we got it the battery was just replaced, and it works great. The body is in good shape, with a small dent on the passenger fender, some scratches on the driver's side bumper, and an approx. 18" crack in the windshield on the driver's side. If you are interested, we will have the windshield replaced before the car is picked up for an additional $209. If not, it will sell as-is. There is no rust or other damage or problems. Please look at the pics carefully for the damages. The interior is clean and in very good shape. It has ice cold automatic A/C, a nice AM/FM CD factory stereo, digital speedometer and display with touchscreen vehicle information and other controls, cruise control, power windows & locks, and full steering wheel controls. Toyota sells off Tesla shares, too

The incredible rise of Tesla's stock price has done little to now stop two major shareholders from ditching their stake in the American EV manufacturer. First, Daimler, parent company of Mercedes-Benz, ditched its four-percent stake, and less than a week later, Toyota is doing the same thing, selling off an undisclosed bit of its Tesla investment.
The move comes as Toyota winds down sales of the RAV4 EV, which gets its batteries and electric motor from Tesla at the company's Fremont, CA factory.
"We have a good relationship with Tesla, and will evaluate the feasibility of working together on future projects," Toyota spokesperson Kayo Doi told Bloomberg via email.

2014 Toyota Highlander recalled over seatbelt anchors

Toyota has announced a small recall of its redesigned, 2014 Highlander over issues with one of its seat belts. The affected vehicles, which were built from November 20, 2013 to January 18, 2014, could have a seatbelt assembly in the middle seat of the third row that wasn't properly secured to a floor anchorage at the factory.
In total, 7,067 of the new Highlanders are included in the recall, which was discovered not after a crash, but during a post-build inspection at the factory. It's unclear if there have been any injuries as a result of the faulty seat belts.
Toyota is set to inform owners of the affected vehicles as well as dealers with the recalled Highlander models in their inventory. Naturally, repairs will be performed free of charge. For the full bulletin form the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, scroll down.
