Mechanically this is a very sound automobile, Engine starts up smoothly and sounds great. Good pickup down the highway and has a straight alignment with no pulling or wiggles. Brakes stop well with no pulse or pulling. The tires are Goodyear brand with about 70% tread. Clean autocheck history report, 1-owner car. All lights work, a/c and heat work great, and other power options are all working correctly. This car is ready to be driven anywhere. Cosmetically this car is in great shape. Russians create Toyota Land Cruiser ice sculpture with full interior
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The Toyota Land Cruiser is a pretty hot model around the world. But it took the Russians to make it cool. We have few hard, cold facts and only small slivers of information about these photos, but it seems the icy Toyota was part of the International Snow & Ice Festival in Perm, Russia.
Artists took a huge chunk of ice and shaved it down to the temporary art installation you see here. The sub-zero SUV comes complete with a full interior accessed by the (permanently frozen open) driver's side door. The steering wheel and seats look to be upholstered in, well, dirt. With the back seats removed, the frigid four-door is a pretty slick ride in which to chill out.
Just a thought, but wouldn't a Toyota Tundra have been more appropriate? See the gallery for more photos.

New version of Toyota FT-1 Concept gets racy for Gran Turismo 6
Thu, 07 Aug 2014Gran Turismo 6 has been the preferred marketing springboard for quite a few brands and concept cars since its debut last winter. Specifically the GT Vision concept idea - allowing manufacturers a built-in place to offer up new, original, drivable content - has enticed the likes of Mercedes, Nissan, Volkswagen, Toyota and more to dream big on the digital stage before pulling the sheets back on real concept cars.
In fact, Toyota teamed its live reveal of the FT-1 Concept at the Detroit Auto Show with an in-game launch of the car, just this past January. Looking for a second bite at the GT6 apple, Toyota has just released a teaser video for a new, FT-1 Vision GT version of the same concept.
The company isn't giving us much to go on save for the 30-second video, saying only that the concept was penned by Toyota's Calty Design Research team in California, and that it will "soon be available for download." By the looks of it, the new FT-1 seems to be more of a racecar than the original, without obvious changes to the basic form. No word on whether or not there's a physical concept car in the offing at a yet-to-be-named auto show. Stay tuned.
