Here you have a fine example of the 91 Turbo. The car has a few exterior imperfections,as you would expect with a 91. The interior shows no wear and has no scratches or damage.Overall the car is in great shape inside and out. The driveline etc has been completely gone through.Mechanically I believe the car is better than new. Im sure I will forget something but I will try to offer a thorough list of all improvements. In addition I have a fairly extensive file with receipts for most of the parts. For starters the car has a new Toyota factory engine and a rebuilt head. New factory transmission. New Spec Stage 2 Street Clutch. New KO Racing Streetbrawler T3/T4 46 trim turbo. 1999 Toyota LSD axles. New Tial waste gate and coated down pipe. Apex i power intake. Greedy Thrust Intercooler. Manjit intercooler shroud. 7.5 inch Spal puller fan for Greedy intercooler. Fugitsubo Legalis R exhaust system. ATS throttle body inlet. Hex valve cover bolts. ARP head studs. ATS knock sensor kit. ATS modified fuel rail. 550 injectors. 255 fuel pump. Prothane urethane bushing kit installed in rear, in box for front. New fuel tank. 94 taillight conversion kit. Pioneer DEH7500MP CD/MP3 player. HKS turbo timer. TRD short throw shifter. Aluminum gauge bezel. AEM engine programmer. Car has been dyno tuned. I am sure I am forgetting things but I will start with this list. The car has been garaged for its life. It is rust free . The car drives straight even at speeds of 140 MPH. The car is fast. The above listed parts alone cost over $13k not counting labor. I have a huge file of receipts. The car runs very well and looks great inside and out. I also have many extra parts that are included with car. The car has ben babied and well taken care of. The above parts have a total of 3k miles on them. Please do call me with any questions you may have @4435067439.John. Do look at my feedback and you will know that you can bid with great confidence.

Former NHTSA chief may lead automaker-backed Takata investigation
Fri, Feb 6 2015An automaker-led effort may see the former head of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration take on the probe into the Takata airbag inflator disaster. A coalition of at least ten automakers is in talks with former NHTSA administrator David Kelly, with unnamed sources familiar with the discussions telling The Wall Street Journal he is "among those we are considering to coordinate" the investigation. The Detroit News, meanwhile, is reporting he could be hired "in the coming days." Takata, the Japanese seatbelt and airbag manufacturer, has been the center of a defect scandal since last year. Takata is under fire for air bag inflators that can explode, shooting out metal and plastic pieces. At least five deaths and dozens of injuries have been linked to the problem worldwide. Earlier this year, Honda Motor Co., the automaker with the biggest exposure to the defective Takata air bags, was fined $70 million in the U.S. for not reporting to regulators some 1,729 complaints that its vehicles caused deaths and injuries, and for not reporting warranty claims. It was the largest civil penalty levied against an automaker. Should he take the role, Kelly would be at the fore of an investigation being assembled by an alliance of ten automakers, which includes the Detroit Three and Honda. Toyota first suggested a joint investigation back in December, The Journal reports. Kelly's goals, meanwhile, will be many. The Detroit News reports that questions abound regarding not only the recalled airbag inflators and the conditions that cause them to fail, but the whether the replacement units will have similar problems in the future. The automaker committee is far from the only one analyzing the airbag issue. Takata has assembled its own panel, led by former Secretary of Transportation Samuel Skinner, while NHTSA's deputy administrator, David Friedman, has brought in an outside engineering firm to investigate the inflators, The Detroit News reports. Separately, on Friday Takata Corp., the Japanese seatbelt and air-bag maker at the center of a defect scandal, is expecting more red ink for the fiscal year through March. It is projecting a 31 billion yen ($264 million) loss, worse than the previous forecast for a 25 billion yen ($214 million) loss, despite higher sales expected for the fiscal year. Ten automakers have recalled about 12 million vehicles in the U.S. and about 19 million globally for problems with the air bags.
Watch a Toyota Highlander ram a house, twice
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Toyota has had plenty of problems in recent years due to claims of unintended acceleration, and now here's a video that actually catches such a claim on video. The driver of this 2010-2013 Toyota Highlander claims that the crossover's accelerator got stuck causing the vehicle to slam into the house twice, and resulting in damage to the Highlander, the house and two vehicles inside the garage. While we don't know when this accident took place, the video was uploaded to YouTube back in January.
It is impossible to determine what actually happened in this video, but what we do know is that a security camera captures the Highlander slowly pulling into the driveway before it lunges forward slamming into the garage. With the tires squealing and metal crunching, the driver then shifts between reverse and drive a couple times causing even more property damage before spinning out in the street and finally being able to shift into Park. Scroll down to see the video for yourself. Whether unintended acceleration or driver error, this was undoubtedly a harrowing ordeal.
Toyota MR2 shows why we still love the 1990s
Wed, 27 Nov 2013Was there a better time for Japanese performance than the 1980s and 1990s? It seems like looking back, Japan was on a roll, producing cars that were affordable, economical, reliable, fast and lightweight. And while all the attention is - thanks to a certain film series - focused on cars like Toyota Supra and Mazda RX-7, there is a lesser-known model that's establishing its own enduring legacy without the help of Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.
The MR2, affectionately known as the "Mister Two" to fanboys, first arrived in 1984 as a lightweight, mid-engined sports car that proceeded to eat the lunch of the Pontiac Fiero in terms of performance. That car was replaced in 1989 with the more familiar, rounded-out MR2, which is the subject of this latest video from the team at Petrolicious.
The video takes a look at a group of MR2 drivers, and attempts to explain what it is about the car that is destined to make it a future classic. Scroll down to see Petrolicious examine the MR2 Connection.
