You are looking at a wonderful original truck from Australia. Clear California title. Vehicle has been owned by me since November of 2007. I have put 8,855 miles on it over the 6 years. That averages to 2,013 per year. I commute by bicycle to work so I don't put a lot of mileage on the truck. It has not been off road by me and the pictures show it. I have collected every piece of rubber for a complete restoration which is on a separate auction. The truck doesn't need it though. That is why I have just been sitting on it. I have replaced shocks, all tie rod ends, steering control arm is rebuilt, steering coupler is new- no play in the steering(40mm within specs). Freshly powder coated original split rims. tires have less than 8,000 miles on them. Hella fog lamps. New front bumper, New hand brake cable and hand brake shoes. new headliner(not installed but goes with the truck), New windshield(not installed but will go with the truck). New hood latches, New Battery, Just changed the oil, oil filter and air filter, leather steering wheel wrap, seat are in good shape map is in good shape. Heater looks great and blows hot. Dash is clean and free of cracks. Visors are clean and in good shape. Headache rack is in great. The bed is near perfect and is the original paint. Original owner had a camper on it so it was nicely preserved. Top cap has some isolated rust in passenger top corner and rear behind passenger seat. (See pics). Drivers floor has a slight bit of rust on seam. Easily fixed (See pics). Vehicles starts up every time. It gets about 21 miles to the gallon. You can drive anywhere with confidence.

2014 Toyota Corolla gets marginal IIHS small overlap crash test score [w/video]
Fri, 04 Oct 2013Toyota may have performed some major surgery on the 2014 Corolla, but that hasn't helped the Japanese automaker overcome tough new crash test procedures. The Corolla, Toyota's bread-and-butter compact sedan, managed only a Marginal score on the new small overlap crash test, which was just added last year.
Despite the low score, the Corolla performed well in the moderate overlap front, side, rollover and rear testing, which was enough to score it a 2013 Top Safety Pick. In testing in August, six of the Corolla's competitors earned the Top Safety Pick + award, for good or acceptable scores across the board.
According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the Corolla's "Marginal" score was down to an "intruding structure," that could cause injuries to the lower left leg. There was also concern that in a collision, the driver's head would move after hitting the air bag, and collide with the A-pillar or dash.

Wed, Oct 19 2022If you plan on using a vehicle's third row a lot, let us at least make the suggestion that a minivan would be a smarter bet than anything you're going to see on this list of best three-row SUVs. Their third rows are bigger, more comfortable and easier to get to. The kids will definitely be happier. Here are our two top choices. OK, now that that's out of the way, we totally get why minivans are totally depressing and that if the kids want to be happier, they can buy their own darn vehicle. You're buying, you're driving, you're being seen in it and you'd rather have a three-row SUV. Fair enough. Luckily, there are more choices than ever and they're really good. The best do a particularly good job of being family friendly without looking like a drab transportation appliance, although really, you can't go wrong with any of the mainstream three-row SUVs. Now, some of the luxury choices are a bit suspect, including those that are otherwise very appealing but have cramped third-row seats (the Genesis GV80 comes to mind). This '59 Cadillac is now on display at Toyota's museum in Japan
Tue, Dec 20 2016The Toyota Automobile Museum is different from a lot of other automaker collections in one very interesting way: It doesn't focus solely on Toyota's own automobiles. While the home team is certainly well represented, the love is spread to plenty of non-Toyota brands and vehicles that are significant to automotive history. And that permanent collection now includes the 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible you see here. Yes, the '59 Caddy has the biggest tail fins ever, which makes it measurably significant. You still wouldn't expect to see it in a museum in Japan, though. After updates to the facility and its exhibits finish early next year, the 67-vehicle collection will also include such greats as a Renault 5 (known here as the Le Car), a '64 Ford Mustang, an Audi Quattro, a first-gen Honda Insight, and a Lotus Elite.
