1984 FJ60 Landcruiser that was my project for some time now. It has 193k miles, but motor was just rebuilt and tuned about 3,000 miles ago. I have done all the mechanical upgrades that I wanted but now have stalled out on the build and decided to sell. It's a

This truck was my play/dd. It is turn key ready to go.
The body is striaght with no major dints. It has a couple rust spots but not that bad. I would not call it a rust bucket at all.
The spots will be shown in pics. Both rear corner panels and front doors were bundo by original owner. I would replace both doors to bring back to pristine condition. But they are not bad they are straight and dont sag. The carpet is clean and also the head liner is pretty clean also, some minor spots on head liner. The front seats are okay a little worn so they have covers on them. The rear seat is almost perfect ( no stains or rips). The dash has a couple cracks but not bad. All and all this is a clean truck with lots of mods. Just message me for any more detailed photos or questions needed. Toyota's future fuel cell vehicle lineup revealed?
Wed, Aug 26 2015Being an Olympic sponsor from 2017 through 2024 puts Toyota in the international limelight, and the company is preparing a fleet of efficient, cutting-edge vehicles just in time for the Tokyo games in 2020. At least eight new models could be on the way, according to Automotive News citing Best Car from Japan. Three of those might make use of the hydrogen fuel-cell powertrain developed for the Mirai. While many of these fuel cells are going into Japan-only vehicles, one of them could come here. Reiterating earlier rumors, Automotive News reports a hydrogen-powered Lexus LS is set for 2018. It could be even lighter than the current hybrid model, too. A similar version of the Toyota Crown would launch there in 2019 and possibly an FCEV Estima minivan, too. Beyond fuel cells, Toyota also intends to put the JPN Taxi Concept from the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show into production in time for the games, according to Automotive News. For 2017, the brand's flagship Century is also expected to adopt a hybrid V8 to replace the current V12, as well. Plus, many of its Japanese-market vans are also due for updates. All of this is certainly a massive undertaking to be ready in time, but Tokyo want to use the games as a chance to show the city as an innovative, international destination. Automotive News predicts Toyota could supply thousands of vehicles to haul all of the athletes and dignitaries around. In addition, the Japanese government wants 6,000 fuel cell vehicles on the road and 35 refueling stations up an running for the games. Related Video:
Dutch Toyota dealer has plans for old Prius batteries as solar backup
Thu, May 1 2014A Toyota dealer in the Netherlands is looking to the sky for power. The Louwman Hague Toyota dealership has put almost 1,000 solar panels on the roof, and there might be some Prius hybrid batteries involved. Our Dutch isn't as good as it could be and our questions to Toyota in the US haven't turned up any definitive answers, but there is some mention that these solar panels are will someday be feeding power into a bank of Toyota hybrid batteries. The 1,000 panels make up 1,600 square meters, about the size of 4.5 IMAX movie screens, and is the largest in the area. They generate around a quarter of a megawatt of energy [as our readers point out, this is what the translation says, but it doesn't make sense, so we think it might mean a quarter MW of power a day], which is enough to power 80 homes. The excess electricity will go into the battery packs that have (possibly) already been used in a Prius or another of the company's hybrid. There are many examples of automotive batteries being tested as stationary back-up power sources, and maybe this Dutch solution can be used as a guide when Toyota sets up its new US headquarters in sunny Texas.
