1987 Fj60 Land Cruiser on 2040-cars
Portland, Oregon, United States
This fj60 is in excellent condition. it is white with brown interior. It is a 4sp manual, and has 175,700 miles on the odometer. it is rust free, and has spent about 75% of its life garaged. It has not been taken off roading. The paint is in pretty good condition, but has lost a bit of its sheen. The molding is pretty straight but some of the pieces around the wheel arches are peeling a bit, and one piece on the bottom driver side is loose. there is a small dent in the driver door, and a few small dings in the back, as shown in the pictures. There is a small crack in the upper passenger side corner of the front windscreen. I have had this cruiser for over 10 years and never had any mechanical issues. The air con is running a little bit weak, and the gas gauge isn't entirely accurate, but other than that every thing works. The tires have about 5000 miles on them, and it just had an oil and tranny fluid change. Overall this cruiser is mechanically and structurally very sound. |

Leaked Toyota FT-86 Open concept images preview droptop Scion FR-S [w/video]
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Here it is, folks - the highly anticipated Toyota FT-86 Open concept, a precursor to what could become a road-going Scion FR-S convertible. A full smattering of images and video have leaked onto the internet, and thanks to the folks at FT86Club.com, we can now see the new hotness that Toyota will be unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
These images confirm details that were first seen in spy shots captured a couple of weeks ago - namely, the larger wheel/tire package and the inclusion of the Toyobaru coupe's decidedly useless rear seats. These new photos, however, show a two-tone leather interior with goodies such as an iPod/iPhone mount on the dashboard. The concept car is also fitted with the coupe's six-speed automatic transmission (boo!) and FT86Club.com reports that the folding soft top is operated electronically.
We'll have the full details live from Geneva in just a few days. For now, click through our attached image gallery to see lots of pretty pictures of the topless wonder, and scroll down for a video to see the concept in motion.
Buy a Toyota GT86 and your wife will hate you
Wed, 14 Nov 2012Marketing can be a very strange business. Convincing a man or woman (or child, really) that they absolutely cannot live without the latest, greatest new bit of technology oftentimes takes a unique approach. In the "online film promoting the Toyota GT86" you'll see below, created by agency Happiness Brussels, men are reverse-psychologied into thinking a new sports coupe will make them more masculine by getting their loved ones to hate them. Or something like that. We think.
In any case, we suggest you watch the video below to see how much fun men can have with a GT86 - or Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ, presumably - at the expense of their significant others. Fair warning: There's a potential Not Safe For Work moment in the ad: beware of a brief male butt shot about 44 seconds in.
Marketing. Gotta love it. Unless you're married to a man. Or something like that. We think. Whatever, just watch.
