I've decided to sell my 1982 FJ40.

This FJ40 is VERY rare, 1 of only 300 ever imported into the US in 1982. This truck has a clean Montana title and is a good runner. The original 2F engine runs and sounds good and averages around 17 MPG. It doesn’t have any problems reaching 60 + MPH on the highway. The transmission shifts smooth and the 4x4 works great. I've decided to sell this after coming to the realization that I don't have time to address the rust issues. The tub is pretty well rusted and will likely need to be replaced or removed from the frame in order to fix. The hardtop has some rust but overall it’s in good shape. No large dents or dings and the glass is all there.

I require a $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit within 72 hours of closed auction (Wire, FedEx Check). The remainder is bank to bank wire transfer (must clear first) within 7 days of the closed auction. I welcome 3rd party inspections during the auction. Please ONLY Bid on this auction if you are serious. If a bidder fails to pay within 7 days of auction close, you loose your deposit and the item will be put up for auction again and a Non-Paying Bidder Complaint will be filed in eBay.

Toyota will steer clear of driverless cars

Toyota executives say the company's primary focus is on safety. At least for the time being, that means the company won't pursue development of a driverless car.
Speaking at the company's advanced safety seminar in Ypsilanti, MI, Thursday morning, Seigo Kuzumaki, Toyota's deputy chief safety technology officer, said that Toyota envisions a future driving environment that optimizes the best of both humans and computers, not choosing one over the other.

Fewest vehicles ever found eligible for Most American survey

Once again, the most American car on the market is from an American brand. The Ford F-150 retained its number one spot in Cars.com's annual survey of the most American vehicles, trumping the Toyota Camry, which remains at number two.
Ford taking the top spot is small consolation, though, as the Detroit Three aren't too well represented here. General Motors scored a win at number seven, with the Chevrolet Corvette, while Chrysler squeaked in at number ten, with the Dodge Viper. Outside of those three vehicles, Toyota and Honda dominate the top ten.
What's most remarkable, though, is that there were so few cars available for this year's list.
