1975 Toyota Fj55 Landcruiser Safari Wagon 4x4 Fj 55 Iron Pig Land Cruiser on 2040-cars
Annapolis, Missouri, United States
This is a Hard to Find 1975 Toyota LandCruiser FJ-55 Safari Wagon. It has had some body work and was painted a few years ago. The clutch and Everything related is new. The Transmission Shifts Really Smooth and the 4WD Works great. This FJ Has not been abused and played with. We just don't get to enjoy it any more. I hope it goes to a good home. It Has been drove around here on the property. I am not for sure of the actual Mileage. It does Run and Drive. The only issue I have had with it running is the fuel tank. I guess every once in a while it picks up a small piece of Rust and I had to blow back thru line. It is in good Condition for its age. I tried to take a lot of pictures to show all angles of the body and interior. It has 2 new tires on the front, the two in the rear need to be replaced. I will install a new battery for the new owner as well. The driver door has a small crease in it. Like I said it is not perfect but would make a great FJ to have. I have a clean and clear title. Buyer is responsible for Shipping if needed. I would also assist in delivery up to 300 miles for a small fee. Thanks for Looking and God Bless! My goal is to earn your 5 Star ***** 100% Positive Feedback. Please don't forget to Leave Positive Feedback and a 5 Star Rating After you receive your Item! |

Toyota to shock with Supra concept for Detroit Auto Show?
Fri, 06 Dec 2013We've written about approximately 187,000 rumors about a return of the Toyota Supra to the land of living cars. There are a couple of good reasons for this: first, Toyota won't stop dropping hints about a new halo sports car. Late this summer, Toyota sales guru Kazuo Ohara called a Supra successor "one of the options we have" - a comment followed by a hint that there would be "better news" on the subject in the future.
The second reason for all the Toyota tales is, of course, that we all have missed the Supra since its departure from the US market in 1998. So, when a member of the Autoblog team is party to a nudge-and-wink-filled conversation about a new Supra concept headed to January's Detroit Auto Show, we tend to listen up.
A 400+ horsepower hybrid sports car would match up pretty well with the upcoming NSX.
Toyota Prius sales could come up short in 2013
Sat, 06 Jul 2013A Toyota executive has said that the automaker's hybrid Prius model may not reach its 2013 goal of selling 250,000 units in the US marketplace. Bill Fay, group vice president for Toyota's US sales, told Reuters, "The 240,000 to 250,000 range is kind of where we're settling our sights for the Prius family."
The first-generation Prius, a five-passenger model, was introduced to the States in 2001 (its arrival made it the second mass-produced hybrid, after the two-seat Honda Insight). The second-generation model arrived in 2004, followed by the current third-generation design that arrived for the 2010 model year. The automaker has subsequently added the Prius V, a hatchback wagon (shown above) and the Prius C, a subcompact hatchback. As of March, 2013, cumulative worldwide sales of the Prius had reached 3.67 million units.
Last year, Toyota sold 236,659 Prius models in the US. However, sales of the model have fallen 5.1 percent in the first six months of 2013. In response, the automaker has boosted its marketing for the model, and the promotions are expected to continue through at least July.
2014 Toyota Aygo is so cross with itself
Mon, 03 Mar 2014It almost made it, but images of the redesigned Toyota Aygo have leaked ahead of its official debut at tomorrow's Geneva Motor Show. The new Aygo sports an aggressive look overall with a, um, mark on its face.
That distinguishing design feature aside, we quite like the angular headlights and muscular overall look of this little city car. The gaping trapezoidal air intake make the Aygo look more substantial, while swollen rear wheel arches hint at something sportier than your standard commuter device.
Sportiness, though, isn't likely to be a big part of the Aygo. As it's built on the same platform as the Citroën C1 and Peugeot 108, we should expect the same pair of gas-powered engines, which means at best, the Toyota will come to market with 82 horsepower under hood.
