This Highlander looks virtually new.  It is in excellent condition both interior and exterior.  We live in Wa. state during the summer  1/2 yr and in AZ 1/2 year.   Runs great, without any issues, AC is perfect, all accessories operate the way they did when new !!!  Always garaged.

Paint and body is almost flawless, a couple parking lot dings on one side, but no dents or scratches,.  The car has been serviced well and all preventative maintainace preformed.

The pictures really show how nice this car really is, wear showing is absolute minimal.   We have travelled back and forth between WA. and AZ. every year since we got this vehicle as it's second owner.  It's been an outstanding road car.   Just took delivery of a new Tesla S so the Highlander has to find a new home.

There are no issues with this great little SUV, It's been great for us and should be one the best small SUV'S you'll find. If you are local please come and inspect it, or have a inspection done again NO disappointments !!!  We pulled a 22' sailboat to Lake Pleasant, (one hour drive) when we were in AZ.  never knew it was there.

I will help as much as possible with shipping to make it as smooth as possible.  I know it can feel lonely at your end.

Toyota, Ford decide to end hybrid collaboration before it starts

Tue, 23 Jul 2013

Not all so-called Memorandum of Understanding pacts end in actual collaborations. For instance, after a two-year "feasibility study," Toyota and Ford have just announced that they will not be developing hybrid systems for use in light trucks and SUVs as previously planned, and the two automakers will instead continue to develop their own hybrid technology independently.
The would-be collaboration was first announced in August of 2011, and would have seen a rear-wheel-drive hybrid platform that would "improve the efficiency of trucks and SUVs while still allowing them to be driven in the way customers expect," according to our initial post on the topic.
Keep in mind that this announcement isn't to say we shouldn't expect hybrid pickups and SUVs from the two automakers, but that they probably aren't coming very soon - Ford says it will have a system "before the end of this decade" and we haven't heard much from Toyota on the hybrid truck front since the 2008 A-BAT Concept (pictured above) - and that they will not share any components between them (and they never have, for what it's worth).

New version of Toyota FT-1 Concept gets racy for Gran Turismo 6

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

Gran Turismo 6 has been the preferred marketing springboard for quite a few brands and concept cars since its debut last winter. Specifically the GT Vision concept idea - allowing manufacturers a built-in place to offer up new, original, drivable content - has enticed the likes of Mercedes, Nissan, Volkswagen, Toyota and more to dream big on the digital stage before pulling the sheets back on real concept cars.
In fact, Toyota teamed its live reveal of the FT-1 Concept at the Detroit Auto Show with an in-game launch of the car, just this past January. Looking for a second bite at the GT6 apple, Toyota has just released a teaser video for a new, FT-1 Vision GT version of the same concept.
The company isn't giving us much to go on save for the 30-second video, saying only that the concept was penned by Toyota's Calty Design Research team in California, and that it will "soon be available for download." By the looks of it, the new FT-1 seems to be more of a racecar than the original, without obvious changes to the basic form. No word on whether or not there's a physical concept car in the offing at a yet-to-be-named auto show. Stay tuned.
