1983 Toyota Levin straight from JAPAN!  This is a real Levin that was never sold in the US Market.  It is 5 speed manual and has been stripped for weight savings.  The car is very light now.  It has a one piece drivers bucket seat that is very narrow (winning bidder may need a wider seat installed) and stock JDM passenger seat.  No back seats, no carpet, no unneeded interior accessories.  Dashboard has a few cracks in it.  Has a great working and very desirable Digital Dashboard.  The pictures show the condition of the interior which is utilitarian.  If the new owner woudl liek to switch it back to a more stock style interior, luckily most of the US Stock pieces fit in just fine.

Ebay does not accept JDM VIN's as they are shorter than US VINS.  The VIN is AE865005138.  AE86 is the chasis codes for this Levin.

Car starts right up and drives great.  It's a much different experience form driving a stock AE86.  The motor has been swapped for a Red Top 4AGE with under 20,000 miles on the motor.  That is the more powerful 4AGE.  It also has a newer heavier duty clutch, larger throttle body, custom intake with larger throttle body plate, upgraded ignition, intake, header, full exhaust with no restriction (can be a little loud), strut bar, silicone radiator hoses, small light weight battery and tuned for upgrades.

Other upgrades are front coilovers with camber adjustment, rear springs and shocks, full body kit including whale tail wing, SSR wheels, spare Watanabe wheel, and newer paint job.  As you can see in the pictures, the car is low.  It can be loaded and unloaded on a full trailer just fine if you are on a hill.

It has of course the stock Levin front end which is very desirable.  Just the front end of this car is worth a good amount of money.

This car was never offered in the American market. It is still a very popular model in Japan to this day.  It's light weight, super fun to drive, huge aftermarket support and unique styling.  The best part is it is 100% LEGALLY IMPORTED.  I can't stress how important that is.  It is the only way to get a REAL Title in your state.

The car has been legally imported under the 25 years and old rule.  It will come with all of it's import papers such as customs, EPA, DOT, Homeland security, De-Registration documents form Japan, Bill of Sale from Japan, Bill of Sale from me in US.  All of these will allow you to get a title in your respective state.  The only hurdle perhaps being your local SMOG laws.  At most you may have to modify the exhaust system as this one has no emissions controls or anything on it.  It's usually is the same process as registered a car from out of state.  Please ask your local DMV if you have questions on how to title the car.  It will most likely involve a VIN check to make sure it's the same that's on your paper work and showing them all the legal imported documents.  Ebay requires me to select a title status on the car, but it does not hold a state title as of this time just to be clear as stated previously.

To be clear, the winning bidder is responsible for titling the car in their home state.  I will provide ALL necessary import documentation. The DMV can be a little confused but they will eventually figure it out and you will be issued a title as long as you are not in California.

NOTE:  It is near impossible to get a LEGAL California title for this car.  Every other state is able to issue a title by going to your DMV, giving them all the paper work and having them walk you through the process EXCEPT California.  Their laws are such that it is unable to be titled in California.

Again, everything has been done 100% LEGAL!  There are no shady deals that have been made, or people paid off in customs or anything.  Everything has been done proper and all taxes and import / export fees paid.  There are a lot of them. Haha.

Since the car does not have US issued plates, it will have to be trailered or shipped to it's final destination.

Feel free to ask any questions you have.  Also, the reserve is set pretty low for how unique this car is.  Check out my other listing for another JDM Legally Imported car too.

Scion FR-S Convertible (in Toyota GT86 form) spied in South Africa

Fri, 15 Feb 2013

Though the eventual existence of a convertible version of the Toyota GT86 (and its Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ versions for America) is a no-brainer, we've yet to get a glimpse of the real-deal car until now.
Spotted in Cape Town, South Africa, of all places, this completely undisguised GT86 convertible seems to be in a remarkably advanced state of development. The image seen here was obviously sniped from quite a distance and without the aid of a powerful lens, but we can still make out a production-ready looking piece of rear bodywork for the convertible top to hide away in, as well as a functioning trunk lid. It's hard to make out with any certainty, based on this evidence, but there does seem to be space retained behind the front seats for two, small rear chairs.
With the first car spotted, we'd expect to seem some more and better images of it flow through in the near future, and if not, Toyota has already confirmed a concept version for next month's Geneva Motor Show, dubbed FT-86 Open, so stay tuned. For now, click through to the FT86Club.com forum to have a slightly closer look at the images.

Weekly Recap: Things you might not know about the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats

Sat, 16 Aug 2014

If you're an enthusiast, and you don't know that Dodge spawned another Hellcat this week, you really must have been living in cave. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is probably the biggest news for enthusiasts since the reveal of, well the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
But, there are some things you might not know or might have missed about the new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. For starters, reports that the Hellcat production would be limited to a low volume are not true.
"We have not capped the Hellcat on either the Challenger or the Charger," Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.

2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro

Thu, 23 Oct 2014

Despite the earnest efforts of Japanese automakers like Toyota and Nissan, the American pickup truck scene remains wholly dominated by the likes of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler. This is not news. Part of the reason is because of the sheer number of variants offered by US automakers - everything from work-spec base trucks to house-leveling heavy duty models can be had, with a seemingly endless combination of engines, cab sizes, bed lengths and trim levels. It's a hugely profitable business, and though the Japanese automakers still offer competitive fullsize trucks, in terms of sheer volume, they simply don't compete.
But American pickups aren't just about work; there's a huge play aspect involved, too. Look at the desert-storming Ford F-150 SVT Raptor or the Ram Power Wagon - these butch trucks are built with superb off-road prowess in mind, and Detroit's Japanese rivals have once again largely been silent in this segment. Until now.
Introduced at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, Toyota now offers the TRD Pro series of models that, in addition to the crazy-orange Tundra seen here, includes the smaller Tacoma pickup and 4Runner SUV. And this isn't just some pretty appearance package, either - there's honest-to-goodness capability baked into all of the TRD Pro models. Intriguing, for sure, so I recently spent a weekend with the big boy Tundra to see what's what.
